@upwithteliver No, just type in "google apps cm7" on google and its the first link. Download the google apps for CM7 and flash that. It'll give you the market and everything else.

@upwithteliver Yes, you need CWM3 to be able to flash stuff. That's what you used to flash CM7. You need it to flash the Google apps.

@MzzSarahx3 open up your stock message app. in the conversation list press menu then settings. Then under "Extra Settings" press Custom User-Agent. Then go down and select custom. Then it should say something like Android-Mms/2.0, just press "OK" And that's it. You should have MMS now.

@NeelPatel664 Yeah, just use ROM manager to update to the latest CWM and you don't have to do any of these terminal stuff. This was just the very old way of doing it before it got easier. Just wipe and flash away! :)

I used the rom manager app to download Cyanogenmod 7 rc 2 (one of the stable versions available for free users in app) And flashed it from within the app. I have also made a backup of the stock mt4g sense from the recovery before hand. So if I want to go back to stock from CM7, then would I just go into recovery mode and choose to restore from back up??? Thanks in advance.

@rahmanroni well when there's an update for cm7 just download it, drop it in your SD card. Then only wipe cache, and dalvik cache then flash the new version. That way you don't lose data and everything else is intact.:

@TheDuhvid there's a stable rc1 that's out. I would suggest to do a full wipe. But you can get away with out waiping and flashing right over it. Just wipe cache and dalvik cache. But of course back up first.
