  • shit! lol

  • Imagine strugglen not to fall off rite at the green light launch.

  • nissan GT-R never saw this coming lmao

  • well, lets do a snowmobile record on snow. right? c'mon dudes.

  • wowowowowowow

  • I was at this, it was the coolest thing i have ever seen

  • Lol, I should strap a 330+HP Allison Turboshaft off a Bell 206 on my Arctic Cat. 36,000 rpm...... at idle.

  • ah fast snomobiles, just one more awesome thing about wisconsin...

  • Wait.......There is no snow....

  • Incredible!

  • haha that sled was so fast that he flied through the whole 1/4 mile before the announcer can start his statement " I think he may have it, new world record 178"

  • that record has been broken all ready at martin michigan at the am snow event the man went 182 mph just look it up on youtube if no one beleaves me

  • bull shit

  • @KrAxRACING

Dude, a 1/4 mile is only 1,320 feet, so going 190mph in 2,000 feet is not as impressive as going 178mph in 1,320, with 800 feet left over to achieve the extra 12 mph if he were doing 2,000 feet.

That said, traction is much better on asphalt.

  • lmao its funny because this isn't even CLOSE to a world record

  • that didnt seem like 600hp at all looks like my xc800 couldve kept up with it

  • You could have kept up until the light turned green...

  • nice

  • no fing way

  • opps, i must have thought the wrong day...but it was still sunday though....

  • this iis the run on sunday sept 18, 2009 right?

i was there for that event and that was cool. thanks for posting and you might want to send a copy to the rider cause he wnated a copy of this.

  • No it was October 19th, 2009.

  • @Syclone0044

buddy i was at NBSSR on lake nippising in north bay , MARCH of 2009, and a guy cracked 190.0 mph FLAT, on a single engine in 2000 feet.

the actual record for a sled is 192.2 mph, but it was twin motor welded together with a custom cylinder head

  • So by your reasoning, that 192.2 mph record is BS as well. There`s a video of an RX-1 hitting 210.28mph. Sure it was an airport runway, but it seems you don`t grasp the fact that a 1/4 mile run is NOT 2000 feet. It's 1360 feet.

  • yes i realize that but its the fact that the video title and the announcer at the track that that speed recorded on the sled was the fastest in the world, period. never mentioned in a certain distance or time.

  • 1320 feet

  • 1320

  • @morbo123456

1/4 mile is actually 1320 feet, not 1360 feet.

  • @morbo123456 .... 1320ft

  • @morbo123456 pssst.... 1320ft...

  • @morbo123456 1320* :)

  • @morbo123456 It's actually 1320 feet!

  • @morbo123456

Quarter mile is 1320 feet, if you want to be technical.
