It works but with the wealth of information passed on through the internet now it doesn't do much good. There a ton of "puzzle box" vids on youtube so if you bought one already made you can't rely on it to be secure because any idiot with computer can get your 'secret'... Its better to get one specially made for you, a one of kind that only you and the maker knows how it works, he could still rob you though ... even better, create one of your own so only you have access

The burglar took all the drawers in my nightstand and dumped them on the bed, then picked what he wanted out and put it in a pillowcase and left. This drawer would have been seen when the other drawers came out. Don't keep stuff in your room, it's the most common room people keep valuables and crooks know it.

Ok, I got a cool one. Go to the store and buy an outlet plate, and the little box that goes behind it. Cut a hole in the wall, and make sure it fits. Cut a notch, and put in a hinge, so the plate can swing up. Great place to hide candy.

@rocker91326 its an IKEA cabinet, and at the bottom is just a piece of wood to make it look nicer. He made a shelf starting with that piece of wood instead of putting two wooden plugs in it and attaching it to the cabinet.

To hide something, put it in a place where they would never look. For example if a theif came in to find something you should put it somewhere where the theif could see but not relize....That is somewhere they would never look...

Easy to find. A lot of people keep jewelry underneath a cabinet so I'm sure they would check there too. And a thief doesn't care about keeping the place tidy so the whole thing would be on its side before long.
