It is shounen ai only if romantic feelings are involved. Are any of the characters in love with each other? if not then it is not shounen ai, just a regular anime about friendship among boys.

they didn't actually. from what i understood from the ova's they were misjudjed and they thought that ruka and juda were the ones that started that war years ago and send them to hell. now they are too angry with all the angels. that's why they do do this.

really? well, Saint Beasts is a yaoi but they D O N O T do A N Y T H I N G. You can tell that certain characters love other characters, but they don't kiss or anything, they get close to eachother though.
