you know what really sets FNM apart. this band really incoorporates a good listener. you really have to think when you hear this music. ive always known FNM but recently in the past year or so i rediscovered them. the music is so emotionally driven and so deep that ive listened to angel dust, and the real thing each over and over. each time its a different expirience and i fucking love it. no one like FNM and never will be.

Patton can turn on the high pitch whenever he wants, he just changed his voice for the angel dust era because it allowed him to have more range, and also, he got a stigma for having the high pitched vocals.... it was considered hot by girls and stuff, so he wanted to grow up and show that he was about the music, same reason he cut his hair.
