if you shit yourself over a bunch of blur filters and half-assed blood effects you're a wimp

the AI's better than FEAR's (I.E. doesn't suicide bomb with grenades when it tries to throw them at you) but still needs to take cover and have better reflexes

very unstable mouse acceleration and sensitivity, (I.E. not responding to movement below a certain speed and turning you 360 degrees at the jolt of an inch)

this game doesnt look that impressive to me... imo. It kind of reminds of Doom..... graphics dont really look that great compared to Resistance 2 or Killzone 2..... Do these statments hold truth? I never played the first Fear, but due to the hype i have been checking out videos and reviews on Fear 2. Is this game as good as the games i mentioned?

yep, this game is badass (a must play). the single player campaign is better than resistance 2's imo. and in everyone else's opinion that i've talked to. but resistance's multiplayer is way better. if you're still skeptical give it a rent. it's at the very least worth that much. as for killzone - i can't say much for it. the first got like low 7s but killzone 2 looks amazing. if you'd have to pick between the two, i'd buy killzone 2 and rent FEAR 2.
