@apopkass, yes this is the john marshall from orlando, i knew him very very well.
@aboomar1: that's a lovely vocabulary you have there buddy, did you just learn how to use four letter words or is just that your incompetent brain is limited to four letters. if you have such a problem with shii'ism as a theologic school, bring forth valid arguments and proof to back it up. I mean, as a shia, that is how I was taught to deal with people, from an intellectual standpoint. What were you taught?
if you remove zanzibar from the count, muslims will be fewer far back than christians, the 99% mulims in zanzibar makes peoople think tanzania has majority muslims...our population counts the one million population in zanzibar which is 99% muslim....Dar which is three million population has a half-half christian-muslims...and most schools, hospitals etc are owned by churches, so muslims don't have much say, it is then more or less christian country.
you know what, the fact is that, there have never been taken any religious censor in Tanzania, so no specific number of specific religions...the truth is that, most coastal areas have higher number of muslims, but in the hinterlands, some areas do not have even a single musque..i am a Tanzania living in Dar es salaam.no mosque with more than 5,00 people, but in Dar you have churches with more than 25,000 per session..we can say we are half-half, but muslims have little education background.
It should be noted that the commentator in this video recenttly brutally murdered his former wife and her husband by shooting them in the head. He then took his own life by shooting himself. It has been ruled a double homicide-suicide.
kila mtu anatetea dini yake....hamna cha 100% wala 5%....if u wana b a muslim u 'll be if u wana be a christian u will.....thats that. Just check the video....off u go!!
hehe! Christian nation!? are you some kind of clown? I was born in Dar and almost all of us are Muslims 90%!! The name Dar es salaam itself, that says it all ...!

This is scary. I was raised in Dar and lived in the country till late 90's. I am shocked that a Christian nation by tradition now has such heavy Islamic growth. It makes me worry as Islamist are not tolerant and will impose Islamic rule sooner than later.
I am sad and surprised to think that ANYONE brought up in Dar es Salam (meaning Piece of Heaven) would even think that. I mention the people of Tanzania and in particular Zanzibar where I grew up how TOLERANT and Accommodating the different religious groups are and always have been to each other's beliefs. You only have to see how Muslims & other religious groups respect the Diwali, as Hindus do the IDD and how both revere the Christians. It is great example to the rest of Africa. Go and visit.
@microlive You know the only nation on earth who have problems with religions is the west. And I think it is a politics. A perfect example was during the Egyptian uprising, I have seen a priest and Imam on top of a jeep, one is holding the Cros and the other the Qur'an. Unfortunately, no one showed us in the main stream media in the US. Like you said, in Tanzania, is another perfect example.
I'm not sure what you mean "Christian nation by tradition." Islam has had a presence in East Africa for many many many centuries... longer than Christianity for sure.
hehe! Christian nation!? are you some kind of clown? I was born in Dar and almost all of us are Muslims 90%!! The name Dar es salaam itself, that says it all ...!
Tanzania by most relevant surveys show a muslim population of 35%, Christians at 30% and another 35% made up of a variety of religions. Muslims do have a significant political and more so an economic influence on the mainland compared to the other East African countries. Zanzibar is listed as having 99% muslims. Not all people born in Dar es salam are necessarily smart or know their facts.......this clown does............
Now!.. i don't know much about the rest of Tanzania...but i am sure that in the coastal cities of Tanzania where i have my origins and relatives like Dar es salaam, Zanzibar, Tanga and Bagamoyo muslims are more far majority..much more than 35%...thanks for this video clip man!!
