Oh man I was at this show...my husband got me tix for my birthday. Seeing METALLICA live was one of the highlights of my entire life. And whoever said that the crowd was lame was CORRECT. My husband and I were goin nuts, standing and singing and screaming, and everyone around us were sitting down, barely even reacting to the ROCK GODS that were performing for us...at one point I started shouting at the people around us... "GET UP, YOU IDIOTS, THIS IS F***ING METALLICA!!!!!!"

Although they're old, they're still young in their hearts, don't ever forget that. Even if this wasn't their best performance, they can still do better in the future. They're not laughing stocks, they're REAL performers unlike some new bands today, those new bands only perform to get money in their hands, THEY'RE the laughing stocks, dude, but not every new band wanted to be rich, other bands did it for fun and entertainment just like the old bands.

Because he didn't have any warmup. That's the only reason why, trust me. A voice needs a lot of warmup before you can scream like that and sing notes throughout a whole song.
