@oyeah101 Go for it, the Rxtx 260 will be the best handling and best performance for a S3 hull, lots of cool gadgets, i just don't like the GPS based speedometer, it will never let you go over 69 mph. but still, for a big ass 3 seater its bad ass i think, i believe in the 900's for weight. so still not the heaviest one out. but be ready to dump the fuel in it, those 255 and 260X motors SUCK the fuel lol, ill go thru 15 gallons in 3-4 hours on mine, they are 93 alcoholics! but so worth it!
The rxt x is still slower at stop speed and 0-60. Is much heavier and the engine is the same, 5 extra hp doesnt make any difference..trust me.
I got the rxpx 255 with riva stage 1 and no o ne, i mean no one beats me so far..unless of course you got more gear on it..stage 2 or so..plus in my opinion the handling of the rxpx is much lighter and more fun to ride.

another thing: horsepower are the least important thing. its all about weight weight and weight and hull shape off course!!! pleas believe me i am into this crap...

@oyeah101 the kaw 260 weighs well over 1,000 lbs, the X is about 140/130 Lbs lighter, plus the hull on the X has a deeper v, and the kawi doesnt have trim unlike the doo's believe me, i own one, and my neighbor has the 260 and he gets his shit rocked from me most of the time unless its really choppy where the weight of the Kaw will stick to the water better then he slowly pulls away. ok this the truth: that fastest jet ski ever produced till this day is the Sea-Doo RXP-X-255, after that I believe is the yamaha FZR. I decided to go with the FZR because speed is not everything, the rxp doesnt have many features and it doesnt look so good.

i don't know about the 09 rxpx but my bros 08 needed a ten hour break in. And we used the usual key. just no more than 3/4 throttle and no leaving the rpms in one place for to long.

Ultra 260 is slower in both start and final top speed..and rxp x is supercharged as well my friend..
