  • @ChemicalMikeUK Since energy can neither be created nor destroyed, then everything that has energy is classed as an energy storage system; idiot!

  • The planet is NOT 2/3 water! portalkid1 is an idiot!

  • The planet is 2/3 water. I don't think we will run out of water any time soon. Keep up the good work. I will purchase your product.

  • Once this goes global.....the price of water will sky rocket!!!! Its a shame. This techonlogy is totally legit and needs to be applied world wide. But knowing the United States, all types of new taxes and whatnot are going to make it suck

  • ITMPowerPlc------ this company has a you tube video page now... made more advances since this

  • people give hydrogen a chance...was petrol any different, when we learn new ways to producing abd storing it i dont there will be any problems

  • EVERYONE,please do not be fooled by the hydrogen SCAM!

Read 'The Hydrogen Hoax' By Robert Zubrin

  • Oh my durka durka!! The answer was in our camels all along.. two humps of camel juice,, then rub camel nuttz fast and hard!! Thats it,, no more depending on oil.. it's called, "you are all sofa king we tod id" I can run a sky scraper on one glass of watter for 100 years. Water is our answer, My house runs on water. Your mom needs a glass of water after the 12incher pummelz her word hole.. See!! we all need this kind of energy.. :) fag, u don't know what the hell ur talken of..

  • Transporting H2 is also a problem. The steel tanks, would need to be capable of storing it at 5,000psi and would weigh around 65 times as much as the H2!To transport 200kg(roughly equal to energy of 200gallons of gasoline) would require a truck capable of a 13ton load. This is still only enough for 10 people to fill up with the energy equivelant of gasoline.Creating H2 on site at the filling station via electrolysis or steam reformation would not be profitable either.

  • hydrogen extraction takes MORE energy to extract, than the H2 produced would provide. Most of the worlds H2 comes from pyrolysis of natural gas steam reforming of coal. This actually CREATES GREENHOUSE GASSES!only around 5% of the worlds H2 is extracted via electrolysis.

  • @ChemicalMikeUK

Hydrogen is very viable. Anyone with any common sense knows this. It is easy to make, done it many times with a solar panel. All major automakers have hydrogen vehicles being tested right now. In fact Hydrogen stations are being installed across Hawaii as we speak.

  • @texbrazos Speaking of common sense,it makes no sense to turn a resource that EVERYTHING on the planet needs to live into fuel.Think of all that extra water consumption! Not very eco-friendly if you think of it,is it?You should know, that hydrogen is like a battery;an energy carrier, not a source. You need electricity,to 'charge' it. And the effort does not produce any real gain in energy output compared to the electricity we use anyways! So..,do you still wanna talk common sense? Peace :)

  • @ChemicalMikeUK When the reaction with hydrogen occurs, hydrogen forms back with oxygen and goes back to water. Cleaner water than it was before. It would certainly not hurt us to have cleaner water. Hydrogen is in it's infancy, if we were using hydrogen from day 1 instead of gas, we would have had many breakthroughs, just like gasoline has had over the years. Hydrogen can be made from many renewable sources and is very powerful. A little goes a long way cite GM's fuel cell Equinox Gen 2

  • According to who you believe the world has reached "peak oil" or will reach it within our lifetimes, energy, goods and services are going to increase in cost unless we bite the bullet and follow a much more aggressive renewable energy policy here in the UK.

  • I noticed that the car is a ford, why have I not seen this type of car before? But anyway the water for fuel revolution is well underway now, and I can't wait to see the last power company being closed down, and oil being put in it's right place for making plastic's and other related oil products. The company called Genepax has shown the world another way is possible we as human beings just have to reach out and get it.

  • I notice they don't mention the price. And BTW, what's a "commercially viable CO2 fueling station"?

How is the gas stored? Safely?

    What's the range?

  • At a guess I'd say the filling station is a high powered electrolysis machine that produces Hydrogen on demand using water and electricity thus avoiding the trouble of having to store large amounts of highly explosive Hydrogen on the forecourt itself, as ever with these kinds of news items they tend to be rather light on facts, I didn't notice but if the car had a URL on the side it might be worth taking a look at if it did.

  • I'm for this! It's about time...they've had this technology for more than a decade already! We should all refuse to buy any more new cars, unless they are powered by green alternatives {ie. hydrogen,solar/electric, bio-fuel, etc.}

  • i agree, makes you wonder why the major car companies havent prodeced these yet!!

  • Hi, it's because auto companies are in bed with the oil companies. Why is it they insisted on producing gas-hog SUVs after we went through a major fuel crisis in both the 1970's & 80's? Their excuse is "It's what the public wanted" but in reality it's what the corporate "spin doctors" convinced people they wanted! An informed public would NEVER have bought those ridiculous monsters! So the keyword here is "informed" We actually reached peak oil in the early 1970's so it's all downhill from then!
