@mariobros4321 I have very soft hair as well, at during the beginning stages of loc'ing my hair unraveled. There's really nothing that I (you) could do about it other than getting it retwisted again. I just let mine do what it does (unraveled and all). And I was just very patient and didn't let it bother me. Good luck :)

@WordSmith79 my hair was also kinda sort but was still able to twist but the top just curled up i took it all out and got my fro back im just gonna let my hair grow some more and get it re-done then is that good?

I know how you feel about the early stages because when I was at that point I wanted to cut them. There will be better days and you will love them when they are locked. Your hair is looking great.

I have a love/hate relationship with my babies (locs)..lol...and you are right about the changes.  I just hope I'm able to hold out and not cut them off!

Well I will tell you this, I found it freeing to be able to wash it when ever I wanted after they started the locking process. I found that interlocking was a way for my hair to remain neater longer and I was able to wash it anytime I wanted to and it locks so quick that way. I would try it. I think you will love it.

Being that I'm in my baby stage, I don't wash them until I have them retwisted, which is once a month. The reason being is they haven't locked yet and they'll loosen. I don't wear the wave cap any longer; I haven't worn them covered since the retwist. However, I do tie my hair up at night...just to keep the twists in place.
