Why does youtube keep reducing the quality of videos?

I can't be sure if thisvideo had that happen to it but the video description reminded me of it. Lotsa videos that used to be in 1080 are only 720 now - though I haven't been able to confirm a drop from 720 to 480.

I am mystified by the apology at the end. The second half may not be up to your personal standards but by any objective measure, the whole video is excellent. Better than a lot of commercial stuff I've seen. Like a prev poster said, if you aren't doing this for a living, you should be.

I was afraid to watch this , sort of the second cant be as good as the first one.

Well it isn't , but it not matter extremely good , the first was better for one thing , it was the first , nothing can beat that.

And alot of the videos was reused , still i see these movies as a well series and its all apart of the same quality series , and for one thing i will not ever be afraid to watch your videos , no matter what its all quality :)

Hey Snokeloke, I feel you on this and agree.  This video took less than half the time to make as when fates collide so in a way I'm glad it's not as good. Also for me, I felt inspired by the music with when fates collide and with this video, the music was simply appropriate rather than it moved me. I hope once 4.5 hits our screens and I have new material to work with I can create something special that people will enjoy :)

Ha, yeah there is. I did the first part of the video over a month ago and the last half on Sunday - two very different moods mashed together. I like to do the second mish-mosh layered editing the most but I think people prefer the less complex linear editing that you see at the start of the vid. I dunno, I may find a happy balance in my next vid.
