I agree, Laak, Esfandiary ,Harmen, Lederer they all play ABC poker. Anyone can play like that. Waiting for good hand can ake hours so you have to make moves inbetween. Durr impress me, not like Brian townsend and Paul Wasika. Durr will be as good as Ivey and already better than Daniel, who should stick to limit games.

There are more profitable ways to establish a tight image,this is just donkey tight.Laak is a very good player but the problem both with him and esfandiari who for me is even better is that they are out of their calibre too high stakes and they can not play to their standard.The bluff at the start of the episode and folding 99 to dwan are such examples.That is why they need to bring guys like Sammy and even Mike back who are fearless.

in that 99 Hand he is not playing THAT bad.

If he calls Durrrr will barrell two more times on the Turn and the River and Phil Laak have to pay much money to find out if his 9s are good or not.

I guess he would have call it against anyone else on the table-but Durrr has the guts to bet two more times with air.

And there is absolutely no Card(Except of the remaining nines)that will help him.

so he only invest 3k preflop. But he would have payed app. 50k to find out if a pair of nines is good.
