I mean yes, lord of the rings had great music and well deserved oscars, but with the 3rd OST sounding almost identical to the other ones winning against Last Samurais OST made me sad. Stop thinking the Samurai were so great. They were the same as European knights, but they lived in Asia. They were landlords with a feudal populace under them. They made their own laws, and they constantly fought among eachoter for power. That's what the Samurai were and they were good at it untill Japan's Imperialists defeated them with their superior weapons. It's a thrilling and exiting story, but has morally nothing to offer.
