  • You have a beautiful spider, love your videos. I got my first tarantula when i was 12 and went on to live for 12 years. I recently purchased another which is the same spieces as before, rose hair. But I was thinking about purchasing another, but a different spices. Where could I find a goliath for purchase? SInce I cant seem to find in any pet stores nearby. Any websites you recommend?

  • Big girl for sure, what do you think of Frans 11" female Blondi?

  • @whiteyr44 Awesoime!! That is the only word!!!

  • @tarantulaguy1976 bubzbeauty sent me here

  • So impressive, she does scare me somehow and I am really used to handling all kind of exotic pets.

    But she really is something.

great vids all together, a real joy to see.

  • one rouch dislike this vid.

  • is zilla a blondi or a goliath ?

    i think its a blondi

sry for my enlgish and sry i dont know a lot about spiders

    (but about grammostola roseas)

  • @GRoseaHelpMe: The T.blondi and the Goliath Bird Eater are the same tarantula - just one is the scientific name and the other is the common name. Zilla was actually a T. Sp. Burgundy - the T.blondi has recently been redescribed.

  • Using the croach's antenna for picking her teeth...

  • Is this your fav spider?

  • @LuckyIzzy659 By far!

  • 2 inch roach!!!!! omg mega spider!

  • Baam..that roach was almost bigger than my Nhandu C..hahaha..Awesome!!=o)

  • Quick question, any tarantula species that you have suffer from Diskenetic syndrome? If so, is there a way to fix it?

  • @xDeAdlYSp1Derx None that I have and I do not believe there is a cure for it.

  • have you ever gave you live mice?

  • @Bleach334 once a year if that, it is VERY bad for T's due to the high calcium rate!

  • It sounds like it's purring, haha.

  • as fast as lightning !

  • lets see some more zilla feedin vids ROB! haha. I dont know if you remember but i ended up buying a 40 gal tank for my T all i need is the zilla junior.

  • Like eating dry Corn flakes for a human!

  • all are

  • Wut? they eat males? Don't let them get bigger please I don't wanna meet a godzilla size spider.

In the other vid where you feed Zilla, she had another color...?

  • When they afe father in there molt cycle they get browner, after a molt they are gray/black

  • @Steffos159 dont worry the maximum size for T.blondi is approximate 12 inches. Well, unless you add steroids or growth hormones to it! Oh, the color differes after moult, they change color when growing as they obtain a new exoskeleton.

  • how many tarantula's do u have?

  • no tarantulas arent venomous the only tarantulas thatcould put you in the hospital are the baboon speicies because of there venom thats the only species though

  • it does not change the fact that all tarantulas are venomous... and have venom. it may or may not all be deadly, and quite frankly i don't want to personally find out.

  • crunch crunch

  • look at that size!

  • Hey nice video, I just started think about getting a tarantula. I was wondering and keep it in mind I just started watching videos but have you ever fed Zilla a mouse?

  • Mice are very bad for T's, I have gave Zilla a mouse or 2 in her entire life (to fill her up so she wouldn't eat a male).....I do have a video on here of it.

  • *Crunch* OMNOMM *Crunch Crunch* OMNOMMNOMM

  • Does she ever flick hairs at you? If so, is it as irritating as it's been reported? Very cool!

  • She doesn't do it very often but when she has, it sucks! Very irritating!!

  • Hey rob, will roaches kill a tarantula when its in a molt like crickets will??

  • To the best of my knowledge, they won't...

  • why are you feeding off your female dubia??

  • I have over 3,000 females....total of about 9,000 dubia mixed!! LOL

  • whoa!! i have never seen thta many.. you should make a vdeo of them :)

  • ROB, need a feeding compilation again..i wanna see everything taking something down lol these are the best....especially the lil ornatas

  • CRUNCH!!!!!!!!

  • awsome!

    you can hear her eat!

    AMASING!

  • We can hear the crunch just fine even with you talking! Very gnarly vid.

  • the things huge! would you let that crawl all over you?

  • I've handled her...check out my Zilla handling video here on Youtube...

  • no way dude awesome

  • She is big! The scrunchy sound gave me goosebumps! LOL! :)

  • nice, i find with this species when they dont have an approaching moult, they have an insatiable appetite. mine will take 4 large crickets at once and have em all impaled on her fangs.

  • Wow, best feeding video ever. Is she your favorit? Don't we have the best hobby in the world?

  • She is my favorite & this hobby is awesome, lot of awesome people in it!!!

  • hey you should make a tribute video to this hobby

  • Dude nice vid, listen to that CRUNCH! 5*

  • is she to big to eat crickets? and how often do you have to feed that beast??

  • I feed her twice a week....huge dubias at every feeding...

  • feed her a mice Rob.

  • Na, can't do that....mice are a big no-no for T's...too much calcium and if they eat too many vertabrates, they can have trouble molting. I don't know if you say my female P. Regalis that had a wet molt, and later died, but that's what caused it...her previous owner fed her a lot of mice. I feed my big T's a mouse maybe once a year, if that...before breeding or after a molt...that's it.

  • As rob says, small mammals can do a T a lot more harm than it can good. Big T's would only be fed mice, or more accurately, A mouse, just before breeding so the female doesn't see the male so much as a snack!!

Manys T's have fallen i'll and died because owners have fed mice and such as a main food source - not good!

  • Crunch Crunch haha, awesome vid rob, but not as awesome as Zilla, and i mean that in the true sense of the word

  • I agree!!

  • man i have seen your video where you hold this spider and i noticed how fast it is! i have a male blondi and its moves far more slower then this one. it also seems pretty nervouse but i think thats normal in female blondis

  • She is quick!!!

  • damn that roach really shows how big zilla is she could eat 2 of those mabey 3 at a time

  • She has eaten 6!!!

  • nice! think my male is gunna molt soon!

  • Munch munch!! lol :P

  • BTW thanks for making me itch last night

  • Comment removed

  • Oh WOW a video of that beast again but no KB handling vid but that crunching was loud

  • wow..that was pretty cool

  • she is awsome rob i dont know what sex my goliath is yet i hope its a female.

  • Yeah, the crunching was unbelievable! Her fangs are HUGE - about 2" long! Not something I'd like to get bit by!!

  • There is no way her fangs are 2" they don't get that big

  • LOL you know they are!!!

  • lol shes so big! love the crunching at 0.50, she must have MASSIVE fangs!

  • Built like a tank, I bet she would go through a few of those roaches no problem at all.

  • she is awsome rob

  • dammmnnnnn sounded like she was munchin on some Dorito's

  • CRUNCH CRUNCH

  • What a beast, she gobbled that sucker!!!!
