  • No words...only i can say he ist the best!!!

  • i was there that night, and it was so exciting when he said , 'this is a new one, i just finished it last night' what an exciting decade it has been to be a bruce fan, from the reunion tour to working on a dream. keep working bruce and we'll keep dreaming

  • Hi there

Guys if yis like this song, check out Paul Connells new song by typing in 'Paul Connell For You'.Its really great!!!

  • BROOOOOCE!

Beautiful song back then-even better now.

  • wow. didnt know that it was written and performed long before the magic album came out.

  • I can only say......The Boss!!

  • why the heck did he cut the last verse?!

  • It was too dark /not optimistic enough??

  • well it's touching either way3

  • A couple of words could be said to be new orleans.....and i guess i don't know why he cut those

  • Wow beautiful.

  • The best cut on Magic and this is a better version. Okay so it don't rock like the ESB version...but it has sad soul to it.

Finest Kind..thanks for posting it Bruchee!

(ps; he did None But the Brave in Vancouver)

  • That's what I call a great artist! Someone who can keep re-inventing his own work not necesarily trying to make it better, but different. Bruce does it all the time, Thunder road, reason to believe, long walk home are just a few examples

  • Money has got nothing to do with Bruce, so find another website to deliver your message

  • Love it; but I'm predujiced....I love everything about the boss

  • A great song from one of the best artists/songwriters in the world. Only 9 days waiting and we will see them play in Koln. Greetings from Holland.

  • very beautiful

  • When I was there listening to this I thought it sounded quite dull and flat. He was right to adapt it for The E Street Band and give it the welly it deserves

  • Come back to the Palais in Melborne Australia.I love this song. Thanks for another great one. BROOOOOOOOOCE!!!

  • this is a great song ... but its the only great one! and there only 1 good one: Radio Nowhere. The rest of the album is mediocre: not 1 new idea!

  • "In that particular song a guy comes back to his town and recognizes nothing and is recognized by nothing," Springsteen told The New York Times' A. O. Scott. "The singer in 'Long Walk Home,' that's his experience. His world has changed. The things that he thought he knew, the people who he thought he knew, whose ideals he had something in common with, are like strangers. The world that he knew feels totally alien. I think that's what's happened in this country in the past six years."

  • This is just a damn good song, great sounding live version!

  • Bruce is always the best!

  • Beautiful song Bruce , I have been listening to your stuff for some 25yrs, YOU STILL GOT IT ,!!!! Keep it going!!!! Cheers....

  • bravo !!!

  • awesome song!

  • sorry about the typos i meant your own worst enemy

  • he is right aolt has a none but the brave sound cd is awsum iv had it for about a week now its the best iv heard i think its a step way above the rising your won worst enemy is unbeliveable ..have fun

  • Ohhh yeah. I was there. An awesome gig that was.

  • thanks so much for this. I was there and it felt really special to hear a new song. As usual with Bruce you can take it on many levels, but in the end it's political commentary. Can't wait to hear it on the new album.

  • How intruiging....how do you know it is 'better' on Magic?? How'd you get to hear it???

  • I've had "Magic" for 2 weeks now. An advance copy was leaked. The CD is full of classic E Street sound, Living In The Future sounding the most E Street. The CD borrows alot from the past while still sounding "fresh". Last to Die sounds like Roulette, Clarence is prominent in a lot of the songs and so are the keyboards.

  • can't wait!! ....but it seems most of us will have to!! ;)

  • very cool

  • wow bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuce

  • ma dov'è la E street band ???

  • Beautiful song, cant wait for the album!!! Roll on the belfast gig!!

  • i was there... was the best song of the night... was like seeing a master at work

  • It wasn't "like" that, it WAS that.

  • grazie bruchee

  • nice. song on the album is rock version. very nice also.

  • bruchee: Awesome, as always. Thanks!
