@gemmasasha At the end of the trailer it shows Sayid firing down the well. Would be pretty hard to dodge a bullet at the bottom of a well.

the part where he shoots you cant tell if hes shooting down the well, since all you can see is him and the sky. sure, it shows him pointing the gun down the well beforehand but we don't know. also the previews rarely reveal such big plot details.
