The problem is what would replace Gitmo? We need to have serious international talks to create consensus as to ho treating terror combatants and suspects should work.

The only other option is for these terrorist to be released into our judicial system - or set them free.
As to the international talks... who cares what they have to say. These are people trying to destroy America and America gets to decide what they do with them. International talks - who are we kidding?

If you listened to the debates, you would learn that Huckabee is not for habeas corpus rights being given to these "people" - nor is he for dumping them into our courts. If the court decides there is no difference in keeping them at Gitmo or Leavenworth, then it won't matter. Gitmo is too good for them!
