  • This is magnificent! Thank you. Where is the Lezajsk Organ, please?

  • @cazzie511

This pipe organ in Leżajsk has been built in Poland.

    South-eastern Poland near Rzeszów city

  • This sounds creepy. It sounds like funeral music but EVEN MORE EPIC!!

  • how beautifully dramatic. The very low pitched notes, along with the higher notes makes my soul tremble with pleasure.

  • Ulala!~ This is GLORIOUS! String and rich bass, nicely done and i feel sublime :)!

Rejoice, hopefully everyone will stop those large scale brickering on politics, drink coffee/teas and listen or play Bach.

  • dziękuję bardzo! kocham tej muzykę <3

  • love how this is done, some organ music doesn't sound right

  • This music touches my very soul. It tries to reach something out of me that has been hidden for hundreds of years. I feel a very wide range of emotions when this happens.

    Do you.....believe in living again?

  • I noticed some people complaining here that the organist pulled out all the stops, but I must say I really like how the sound continually sounds, reminds me of the chant... The stops in organ pieces always feel to me as if the sound was abruptly cut from its flowing.

  • thanks to that melody and organs last half of year of many kinds of stresses gone into oblivion....

  • Where is the console of this magnificent piece of instrument?

  • wonderful organ and piece. :D

  • ¡Por Dios!.Es un ORGANO BARROCO.

    Polémica zanjada.

  • Dude this is awesome!!!!! :D Does anybody know what the registration was that the organist used?

  • @TheBrain188 I would say just pushed in the crescendo....

  • @ferretboy1187 I'd say he has literally pulled out all of the stops and coupled everything to one manual. And he's opened all of the shutters. Lol!

  • @TheBrain188 Does this one have shutters? most baroque organs dont.... unless of course this isnt a baroque organ..... but im fairly sure it is

  • @ferretboy1187 yea, its baroque

  • @TheBrain188

He has not pulled out all stops for sure. He just uses principal choruses coupled on the manual and a 16' Reed on the pedals. I also can't hear any reeds on the manuals.

  • @TheBrain188

    Wszystkich- 40 głosów

  • chamber music

  • great piece of music I have been listening to this once a day for the last few week's.

  • Bach + Organ = Awesomeness

  • bombastic what bach created out of eternalness..

  • The organ is fantastic. It is so great to hear that the Basson 16'' is not just a sharp high-frequency yorkshire terrier but it is very round bombastic sound. Today's organ builders should learn from their predecessors.

  • 1 meraviglia

  • 1 meraviglia

  • so beautiful so epic

  • Te organy i ich brzmienie jest niesamowite...

  • One of the cleanest recordings I have ever heard. A great organ.

    Greetings from Germany

  • this is played on an actual baroque organ? wow, didnt know those thing could sound that powerful back then, i always thought that came with the romantic organs

  • @HyperJN The organ actually comes to us from the ancient Pharonic courts of Egypt - yes, it is THAT old! The air pressure was sustained by water, and so it was called Hydraulis, twasnt until the dawn of the Greek Empire under Alexander that the word 'organos' was used and transported to the west. Ctesiphon in the 5th century BC describes it's sound as " thunder"!! THerefore, the Baroque version of this most ancient of instruments could not have been less than it's ancient antecedants- THUNDER!

  • @HyperJN Nahh, romantic organs introduces the reeds and strings more than anything

  • An organ like this should rise pilgrimmage to Poland. I definitely want to go there and listen to it live - and see it.

  • deliciously baroque.

  • This organ, this church .. has to be one of THE greatest works of art EVER created in human history. I am a metalhead, I listen to the hardest music known to man, but this instrument .. can reduce me to tears.

  • @fnglert you cant spell Organ without GAR, *Sheds Manly Tears*

  • Gosh, I ♥ the song of organ music. :)

  • Definitely my favorite instrument of the whole entire world. I wished I could play it and learn it well. The sounds this instruments make, it's just simply amazing. I love the bass in the background. WOwwwwww, just amazing music

  • one of the hardest instruments to play.

  • The present of God indeed. A perfect sound ever heard of since Genesis!

  • Leżajsk organ is a cosmoinstrument !!! This stops and all organ is the absolut wonderfulllllll!!!!!

  • Very very fine instrument played beautifully.

Sea quien sea.¡¡¡insuperable!!!.

¿Sabe alguien quien es el organista?.

  • The pedal descent beginning at 1:50 and going to 2:10 is the most dramatic part.

  • Very powerful piece.

  • To RocKnBlooD - I was 15 years old when I bought an LP of Bach's organ music played at Notre Dame, Paris. I would like to encourage you to cultivate a wide range of musical styles, as no doubt, you are already doing. Go for it!

To wedrownik - I live in New Zealand, and your posting of this spine-tingling, glorious organ so masterfully played was a welcome revelation. I've been an organ buff for over 50 years and I'd never heard of this one!

  • @peteacher52 Glad I could bring this instrument to the organ lovers in New Zealand and all over the world. Greetings from Poland.

  • @wedrownik

Yeah. This pipe organ is amazing. The pipe organ is close to me-20km. I played them over 12 times:)

    Greetings from New Zeland!:)

  • @wedrownik greatings from Belgium :D nice play

  • @NukeDiablo Glad you like it. Thanks for comment!

  • Beautiful organ, beautiful playing, perfect registration, perfect music. I love it!

  • Lol im 15 years old since i was a little kid i like rock, metal but my passion it was here in this beautiful pieces!

  • monumentale

  • i LOVE this peice....

  • I'm a bach scholar from England and i whole-heartedly disagree with the last comment. The emphasis was placed on what Bach did best which was bass lines. What a fantastic use of stops for the pedal work plus the coupling was fantastic. Also the stoic melody with only phrasing not intonation was well thought out. A great piece of musicianship as i like to think just as Bach would have intended. Listen to some Lionel Rogg or some Daniel Roth to appreciate my meaning!

  • Impresionadisimo.3:40-4:43,sublime.

El pedal es ...no tengo palabras.

  • not enough bass if you as me.............. brilliant peice of work

  • The sound! The Space! = Sublime!

  • Organist?

Dislike the 16' in the manual.

Nice pedal 16' reed too powerful.

    Wonderful performance.

Ends in major? No. Where is the fugue?

    Thank you for posting this.

  • I love the pedal on this organ

  • Johann Sebastian Bach was born exactly 325 years ago. Happy birthday, Great Composer!

  • I could listen to the church organ forever... just to listen to the tones echoing the church... gives me the feeling God is there everytime... *sigh*

  • I agree!!!!!!

  • @skrivbok I have the same feeling too when I listen to the church organ...

  • Grandioso, monumentale (forse sin troppo)

  • Finally - a recording of the BWV 546 that I can sink my teeth into! Truly wonderful, amazing instrument, amazing playing. Well done. I wish I could hear the fugue too!

  • This piece should be used during the intro of the upcoming Castlevania movie.

  • This is the best sounding organ I have ever heard. I must go there and hear it in person.

  • Great performence!

But.. where is the fugue? :(

I'd like to hear it played by this organist! =)

  • Piekne, piekne, piekne! A organy w Lezajsku brzmia cudownie! Jestem zauroczony!

  • A túrót eszik a cigány jobb

  • There is no such thing as to much BASS!

ALL HAIL THE KING OF INSTRUMENTS!!!!!

  • @poopingeneral you could not have said this any better... amen.

  • c'est la musique

  • @djnunnelly c'est la vie!

  • This and BWV 540 are the greatest toccatta's and fugues that I think Bach has to offer.

  • So you have to listen to brilliant Fantasia in g-minor BWV 542. :)

  • was für ein anblich in dieser barocken kirche vom chorraum direck auf dieses wunderschöne instrument zu blicken

  • What a beautiful setting for such a wonderful instrument.

  • No credit given to the organist. Who is playing?

  • One of the organists performing during International Festival of Organ and Chamber Music years ago.

  • James Wan should use this exact piece for the opening credits of the "Castlevania" movie!!!

  • @organtutti The performer is Robert Grudzien.

  • i love that pedal sound! so clear...
