great walkthroughs I've beaten this on normal then my friend bought this game so me and him beat it in a night lol I've given the story a big enough break so I'm going to beat this on crushing!

I had WAY more trouble on Easy than I did on Crushing. I had unpatched aiming with Easy, patched aiming with Crushing. Man, what a difference it made...

@TheSeraphim17 A WORLD of difference. My first playthrough on Easy was the *real* Crushing playthrough. No more crappy aiming that only moves in a square. It was so annoying and hard to shoot I killed most guards through melee.

The best weapon combo on Crushing Mode is definitely the Tau Sniper and the M79. Very useful in challenging against heavies and long-rangers.

I don't get it. Enemies die from same amount of hits on normal and on crushing. I guess only difference is that you can't nearly take any damage.

This is where I suffered the most in the entire game. On my first playthru (Hard level) I took to the water and shot at the targets - heavies and regular dudes. And it was the Heavies that pissed me off but I managed to get through.

I found an area to exploit since I died near the gun and was returned to the other side. Whats left of a boat where you get in is glitched. You can look over the side and bullets won't hit you at all..

@TheSeraphim17 Hey I saw that you have games from Arkham City to Mass Effect 2, all on the highest difficulty. It must be a real challenge trying to just survive haha. Anyways thanks for the tips, this part on the level was so hard. I must have died about 15 times from the armored guys!

i've done a lot of guides and all but three of them are on the hardest difficulty. the more you challenge yourself, the better you get at the game and games in general.

Finally found a strategy that worked for me - it involved sitting in that little 'hole' in the crates and slowly picking away at the big guy until he died, then picking off the rest of them. :) After this, the ballroom seemed like a piece of cake...

I'm kind of hoping they just make a patch at some point which allows me to beat that part a little easier. There are only so many attempts one can make before he gives up. =x I know I'm not the best FPS player out there, but I've flown right through the game until now - the difficulty spikes are extreme. Instead of making the whole game harder, it feels like the whole game has been just as easy until this part came along!

Yeah, I'm stuck on the next part for crushing as well. I mean, I know what I have to do... but actually DOING it is another story. Just can't handle more than three hits from that armoured guy and the one time I killed him, another guy immediately killed me back. :( Hate this level like crazy. I may have to actually give up on getting the crushing difficulty done on this one.

The fighting section is easy, I beat that part in 1 try. If you play Batman Arkham City you should be able to get pass that part like a breeze, the fighting controls are almost the same. That part is easier than Batman AC in normal. IMO. Thanks for the tip on the shooting part.
