Peanuts, almonds, brazil nuts, macadama nuts, hazelnuts and others, but not cashews which I love. All shell fish. Cod fish, big time. A small reaction to salmon and tuna, but I can eat without having an anaphylaxis reaction. Carrots, cucumbers. Peas and lima beans big time. One of the the worst is humus (chicpeas)

GURLL!!! I got a peanut allergy too! I really wish I knew about this organization before p4a cuz I would have made a video about them as well :) I was laughing though when you were talkin about the dogs lickin your hand then you licking your finger cuz besides the peanut getting to your mouth, the dogs SLOBBER is getting all up on you hahahahahaha but yeah i DEFINITELY know what you mean!

I have 2 food allergies: whey and garlic. Neither are extremely severe for me but they are bad enough to make me sick off of very little. It makes eating out so hard (especially the whey allergy). DFTBA!!

@epicNF20 You can't get a shot and BAM never have another allergic reaction in your life, a.k.a. there's no cure.

There's a difference between asking someone to please not have peanuts around you because it will kill you, and them being a complete jerk about it. Severe peanut allergies are rising, and anaphylaxis is no joke, so for someone to be all "oh whatever you're allergic to peanuts no big deal"? That's shitty. Will it hurt you to not have peanuts on a flight? No.

@epicNF20 i asked to be accommodated. airlines usually do not have a problem. usually they would do a no peanut flight...but for some reason they didnt this time...they literally said "we are moving you to the back of the plane so we don't inconvenience as many passengers" now on your side you think "oh that's logical", but on my side, i bought my plane ticket in that location for a reason, i shouldnt have to be moved cuz of my allergy = discrimination

@epicNF20 there are pills and shots for other less threatening food allergies that can help reduce the reaction that occurs...but there isnt rly anything that does it for peanuts

anaphylaxis can mean dead :( my son has severe hives when he comes into contact with....we don't know! :( how freaking scary is that?! i'm sure pineapple is one of the causes...but we're not sure what else. :( good cause!

@crystalsunshine Have them check for allergies to his own sweat. I am for real on this. We sweat histamines and while the histamine is in our bodies it does not cause a reaction, but outer skin exposure can cause an allergic reaction. I happen to have this strange allergy and people think I'm insane because I start taking benadryl like it's free in the warmer months and I much prefer to be in the cold because having hives sucks (especially on the feet). Dan--- I fly a lot--- I have been on 2 SoutWest "no peanut flights" someone was alergic so the FA's announced that this would be a no peanut flight-- no big deal for anyone-- I thanked one of the FA's for being so considerate of another travelers allergy problem-- they gave me a free drink-- noone on either of the flights I was on complained-- there are still a few considerate ppl left-- to go for an hour or two without a bag of peanuts so someone wont get sick is just tooo easy

@mallow610 WOW! I couldn't imagine all raw fruits/veggies. Mine is just cherries and to some extent pineapple, but I do not go into anaphylaxsis. Most of my allergies are non-food, but also include my own sweat, The flight thing really upsets me. I wonder if some people don't realize that the presence of peanuts could kill you if you didn't have your epi pen ready to go and even then it's not a sure thing.
