You hear it from the horse's mouth. NO ONE wanted to fight Lennox! Tyson and Bowe must be killing themselves because when Lennox was going for those fights, he was at his most vulnerable. Once he got rid of Pepe, and that ugly overhand right, and swapped it for Manny Steward and his sweet science ... good luck! Lennox is/was the man, and if he was American, this conversation wouldn't be happening!

Is it me or does this part prove Don King fixed the fight? Lewis-Holyfield 1 sold very well on the PPV market (before the days of internet streams). So why not pay the judges, score it a draw and the 2nd fight will sell for a possibly bigger sum earning King more money.

I read in Ring magazine once that Holyfield was threatening to sue King for breach of contract for not putting this fight together. King was delaying it because of the lack of options on Lewis.Lewis fans and boxing fans in general should be great-full for Holyfield. If not for him, Lewis may have been frozen out forever. Tyson wouldnt fight Foreman or Lewis. Bowe wouldnt fight Lewis. Evander fought them all. Not always that cleanly (headbutt!), but he did fight them all. Im sure Lewis wouldve.
