She sounds like Karen Dalton with singing lessons. Both Beth Hart and Karen Dalton are excellent, but for those who can't listen to the raw bluesy voice of Dalton, Beth Hart is the one to turn to. This entire album sounds excellent, not just for the performance but for the recording and production. It has lots of atmosphere. I have to try listening to it next time with the lights low, a glass if Jack Daniels and a Havana cigar. Awesome.

Heard this in the car on Radio 2 and at first thought it was Rebecca Ferguson. Came home and googled it and listened to all the tracks on youtube. Have now ordered it . She sounds amazing and his guitar playing is immense. I am now a fan. Can't believe I've never heard her before. Love it.
