I just got this plane and still don't have a radio yet. I am very close to pulling the trigger on a Hitec Aurora 9 but I think I read in the manual that it only allows up to a 140% end point adjustment. Will that be enough? Can anyone help me out? Thanks.
@afgoalie I'm sure that would be fine. Not everyone's plane did this out of the box to begin with. For those that did they found that around 125% of travel fixed the problem. I backed mine off from the full 150% in the video.
My only concern is: will the 120-150% over adjustment on the travel settings have long term stress or a negative effect on the electric landing gear components?
Otherwise, this looks like a good simple fix.
When my local hobbyshop gets this in stock, I'll buy it.
@SuperWildman69 It's a good question and I suppose only time will tell. If they break down I will definitely do an updated video. I have several planes that have a center retract servo that needed to have the range of motion turned up to 125% and they are still going strong after tons of usage. Right now my corsair's gear doors are set at 150% I may bump it down to 120% and see how well it works. Either way there is no buzzing or binding...which is good :)
Great mod!!! Does this effect cg?
