my rubiks brand cube is terrrrrrible. I've been using it for like 5 months, even though it is like 5 years old haha. It's so bad though. It locks up at like... 30 degrees?! Like UGHH. Hopefully my parents ordered me the white tile cube from cube4you i asked for.. It would make life sooo much easier.

@Nephasis nope haha. so far ive gotten two like this from a package. a good way to check is to bend the plastic and see if the layer turns really easy when you try and move it. if it does i try and buy it and check. so far 2 of 4 i checked were like this cube in the video.

i bought a cube from toys r us,

&& figured all cubes are a little stiff

at first,,, so i just played with it and kept turning

the tiles.. && it loosened up quiet a bit..

but it doesnt spin like yours.. i already mixed it

up && have yet to solve it.. but is there a way to

take out a piece even though i already mixed it up.. cuz i try but cant.. seem to pop one off..

you just got unlucky then. most cubes are stiff some are great like the one in the video umm turn the top layer 45 degrees and then use a butter knife to pop the middle edge peice up :)

Oh yeah, quick question guys...is it worth getting some jigga loo or CRC and lubing my toys r us rubik's cube (it is rubik brand like you bought here) or should i just invest in a white or black DIY? i just cant seem to get my cube loose enough. It is better than before, but nowhere near as good as an aspiring cuber needs it to be...your thoughts?

oh hey, yeah i wouldnt use wd40 because it has petroleum desolates in it.. i guess which can cause corrosion to the plastic over time, definately use jigaloo or CRC
