I love art. I would like to be an art teacher and i love to paint the most. Im planing on transfering to cca or uc berkeley my jr year.what school will be better.?
Ok, I went to CCA for a year before eventually graduating from UC Berkeley. The standards in the academically oriented classes (or even the academic and intellectual aspects of artistically oriented classes) at CCA were not only much lower than the academic standards at Berkeley, but also lower than the academic standards at the junior college I attended and even my high school. And yet when I was at CCA, my fellow students often found a way to perform well below those meager standards.
the dorms SUCK. just so you know. I moved out of them half semester so I could get away from people break dancing on my ceiling and stinking up the halls with pot.
nice explainging the school but what about the first year students? i am a first year working on a video for those who dont know a thing about our school and it gives a more detailed view of what attending CCA is REALLY about...
I agree, I'm thinking of transferring to CCA from across the country to get into the writing department, but everywhere I go for information lacks detail about that particular department. Anyone know anything?
Basically, how does it compare to other school's writing programs that you may have seen? From all the info. I've looked up it seems the school sort of pushes that department to the side while they focus only on art, is that the case or is it maybe a hidden gem with little advertising?
there are lots of artistic students at CCA...

I think most art colleges do not have the writing part much. It's all about practical application of art and craftsman, I think.

as a 20 year retired college instructor of mkting I thought this was an excellent presentation of what your college can offer 100% Aplus
