A caveat is to not do this on gravel. My dog pulled me right off my feet and spun me around on my back in an effort to get to another dog when we first got her.
Great technique, been using something similar for some years now and it works a treat, but not so sure about having both feet on the lead with a large, boisterous dog! I prefer one foot on the lead and the handler to lean slightly so that their bodyweight is over the foot on the lead. Less chance of a comedy moment as the handler flips backwards :-)
This is a great idea, ty. How do I do this technique with two dogs?
