Eh I dunno, I like to fly some of my cheap foamies in the big basketball stadium parking lot on the OU campus, which has lots of evenly-spaced light poles. Its actually kinda fun to try to weave in & out of them, but you do occationally doink one like this guy did. Its no big deal though, foamies can take a lot of damage and you just hot-glue them back together and get back in the air.
Sorry to dissapoint all of those searching for "real" aircraft "crashes" with "real" people's lives at stake instead of a harmless remote control airplane crash where nobody got hurt :)
I feel your pain buddy, my first flight large field, solitary tree, I tried to land 3 times but the best approach was with a tailwind. After the 3rd abort and go around, I clipped one edge of the wing. Thing dropped like a stone, totalled the plane and wing. Took 2 months to get the thing rebuilt.
well the pilot chose THE perfect place to fly

most kids can fly an RC if trained, regardless of RC size or speed. There is no minimum age.

probably shouldn't have been flying it there in the first place.

lots of people are interested in real aircraft not childrens toys. Suggest you grow up and get a real life.

It is NOT a Cessna 182, only an R/C model of one. This is bogus and misleading.

No, it's just an extremely large baseball field.

Toy:
1. An object for children to play with.
2. Something of little importance; a trifle.
3. An amusement; a pastime
Guess it is a toy
