It is funny to me how racial oppertunist on both sides use storys like this to spout off about how bad another race is while never focusing on the problems of there own. Welfare, violence, crime, hate, rape, and social problems are consistant with every race and there are many reasons on both sides for them. As far as racism is concerned...I noticed, as a child, that black folks could walk all over our neighborhoods without fear of violence. At the same time I noticed black people were constantly attacking on another, burning their own neighborhoods. stealing their neighbors T.V.. I never saw that happen in white neighborhoods. And I am not talking rich white, I'm talkin old North Las Vegas neighborhoods. not profiling, it's logical.

Government costs that could be viewed as tax guzzling. An assocciated phenomenon would be the lack of tax paying within that same demographic. You do understand that goverment assistance for failing farmland, business tax exemptions, and the amount paid to prevent corruption from organized crime, business shortchange, and protecting basic civil rights far outnumber the amount paid for Government assistance (welfare, section 8, school vouchers...) which whites far outnumber blacks in recieving so it's funny you would choose this one very limited sector to make a stand on.

You can read, that is one way to learn. You can live, that is another way to learn. Observe and read, then correlate. The topic of black culture is relevant because of the cost associated. Government costs that could be viewed as tax guzzling. An assocciated phenomenon would be the lack of tax paying within that same demographic. My concern is why are politicians afraid to mention that subject.

1. Status quo had nothing to do with slavery jackass. Status quo was reffering to the seperation of the races during segregation. Way to just twist a comment.
2. If you are going to mention the Civil War how about reading about it and stop just spouting off what you feel sounds good. The Civil War and the casualities weren't for slavery it was to preserve the union from a seperatist uprising (Fort Sumter).

Reid was right to a point. Obama is black when he thinks it's the politcal thing to do. After all, Obama was not raised black; he was raised white. In his own words, he expressed this confusion.
