Also, it is sad because SOPA the Stop Online Piracy Act (and other bills currently being proposed {{and under debate, criticism and protest by google, wiki ETC}} by legislation like PIPA) would have this piece of Americana history removed from search engines,YouTube&Filesharing and web and recent memory. Fight SOPA
I saw this like way back in 1998 I was 10 or 11 and old 30s early looney tunes and those 40s& late 50sTex Avery/Hanna-Barbera Cartoons came on in the A.M. around 2am to 5 am on CartoonNetwork when it first started airing on basic cable.
It was black&white and more of a grainy picture. Nice job on the color.
There's always a little bit of history in classic cartoons, like when Bugs says "Of course you realize, this means war" that's actually a famous line used by Comedian Groucho Marx and this was the first cartoon to use it. Makes the show a little more enjoyable when you get where the writers are coming from.
Sorry, but this is definitely not in HD. Watch some genuine HD toons to see the difference. This was obviously ripped from Cartoon Network due to the watermark on the screen. If you want to try this again, tune to your cable provider's Cartoon Network channel and try again. I rip from CN every day but can't post HD signals because I don't have the computer hardware to record in HD just yet. But, GREAT work on snagging one of the most elusive toons on TV today!!!
@HeavyLiquidVideos Woody Woodpecker didn't debut until two years later like Bugs Bunny. Ben Hardaway suppoted the voice of the rabbit. The same laugh would be used in four more cartoons before Bugs's and Woody's debut.
Mel Blanc would use this same voice for a certain goofy red-headed bird in "Knock Knock" (Lantz Studios, 1940). Like Bugs Bunny, Woody's antics would steal the whole picture and eventually eclipse the star with his own success.
thumbs up if your here cause of avgn!

I remember watching this back in 2003.
I actually thought to myself, "Does Daffy Duck have competition for Warner Bros.' top screwball?"

They should make a crossover where today's Bugs meets the Bugs of the past.

Upconverting something ripped from a VHS tape to 720p resolution doesn't make it HD.

I like the newer Bugs. Witty, more laidback. This one is annoying. Reminds me of my younger brother.

I kind of like this Bugs better. He's much more playful.
