great game with many faults but still much more original than half of the crap being pushed at us today. I hope the studio for mirror's edge get's a much bigger budget if they ever made a second one so they can do much more with the game. I dunno, maybe putting in more npc's so the game doesn't feel all big and empty or maybe making it an open-world game where you go on missions doing all the free-running stuff.

@LittleMissMetal13 at the e3 2011, someone announced that many forgot about Mirrors Edge as an 'important franchise' so word has it from that person at the convention that there is a sequel being worked on, but it will probably be Dead Island all over again, it will take a good few years before it is announced, i reckon 2014 and it may come out the year after. It sounds so long i know, especially after they cancelled it, and it would've come out this year if it didn't :/

@LittleMissMetal13 i remember i got this for my birthday after it came out, i was already hooked by the demo,and the whole game was so, just.. brilliant! and yeah i totally agree, i hope they don't try and focus on the least important aspects in the game such as the FPS aspect, and adding more enemies, when i'd much prefer longer, and more complex levels, and when set on a higher more challenging difficulty with extra routes ect.., rather than set on very hard and being killed instantly by NPCs.

A deeply flawed masterpiece of a game. For me there were moments of heart-pounding exhilaration marred by needless combat and that ever present whooshing sound as I plunged once again to my death, the latter I freely admit are likely down to my sucky gaming abilities. DICE deserve another crack at this to make an truly epic game, EA if you are listening take some of those wads of cash generated by the perennial CoD releases and throw some DICEs way, they have shown they can produce the goods.

I gave this game the highest rating I could give- and if DICE could promise me a number two - WITH MP - I would GLADLY buy 20 COPIES for me and my friends.
