I am so disappointed that this wasn't a single. Her record company was so quick to get another album out that they let 'Rated R' drop. It could've done better than just a million records sold. This is a song with actual meaning, that has potential to do well in digital sales and mainstream airplay. Fuck 'Rockstar 101' (even though I love that song too ;) 'Fire Bomb' is the best song on the album!!!

However, the album was incredibly successful. I wonder why people keep saying it flopped when it debut at #4 on the Billboard 200 and held this, before going platinum in little over a month.

& it sold more than GGGB in it's 1st week...

Rihanna feels as though the relationship she's in is a 'metal' tragedy and she wants to destroy it by 'putting it in the microwave'. And she loves watching their love burn down because it caused her so much pain. It's a very metaphorical song :p
