I agree Emerging Powers is one of those sets with only a few good cards, but it's definetly fun. I'm trying out a fun deck with the new Simisage, Simisear and Simipour. The multi-energy attacks make for an interesting deck.

With the release of catcher, I don't think "Ross' Deck", and magneboar will be as good any more. The meta seems to be shifting back to the last one before the rotation, in terms of play style.

The new supporter that has N on it would work good with late game decks like Ross's Deck. Forcing a double hand shuffle and getting as many cards as you have prizes remaining? Do that to both disrupt and reset your own hand before you start using Twins like crazy.

i don't know why people would run crushing hammer. its a flip for discarding an energy. why not run lost remover so its 100% of lost zoning it? prevent retrievals/fishermen/afterburn­er

@DeagleBeagle Still, lost remover is a lot more effective since special energies tend to be more important. Like lost zoning a dce thus slowing your opponent down even more than getting rid of 1 energy and getting rid of a rescue energy before KOing something.

Ive heard that nationals will now be a semi-invite needed. You must play atleast 10 tournaments to qualify meaning new players can't play or that tom doulzul (sorry for misspellings) will be screwed if he continues doing what he does.
