  • hell yeah! overclocking without BIOS is HARDCORE!

  • 1:08 you done goofed

  • Lol this is from 2006, of course he's not gonna have an HD monitor.

  • how do you overclock?

  • my Atari ST came with the same monitor... back in the 80's

  • You should take that screen to Antiques Roadshow.

  • @SLisaul CRT are best screens. When you are watching a film on a LCD with friends, you'll can't see anything.

  • @szczepaniak39 Try an LCD with a good backlight and you'll quickly change your mind about that.

  • My old Pentium 4 was @ 3.9Ghz with auto voltage and with stock cooler xD worked few years untill i smashed it with hammer :(

  • Rare display. What is resolution and refresh rate?

  • 6 гигагерц и синий экран...

    разгонять из винды...

    драй айс - это что ? лёд ? обычный лёд ? дак его-же надолго не хватит,да и работать всё это будет - только в лежачем положении,как и в случае с азотом...

  • why overclocking with software?

    thats just stupid and unsafe

    use your bios

  • @B7HD Guys who push their system to ridiculous overclocks usually can't boot. Most likely, it would crash if was booted at 6 GHz. When in windows, it halts the CPU when there aren't any threads that need to run. Also, it isn't doing tons of I/O like it is during boot. The OS is a lot more sensitive about exceptions when booting, it's spending a lot of time in kernel mode, which blue-screens on exception. Service crashes would be silently logged after boot.

  • Haha i have the same motherboard as in the video! Its a Great overclocker

  • Lol imagine playing a game and having to put ice down a hole all the time.

  • Wtf? Dry ice cooler? I WANT THAT

  • benim pc intel core 2 dou E8200 daha 5.6 Ghz ye çıkıyor? what mainboard?

  • @weegee205 Windows XP. He's using the Windows Classic theme.

  • This was back in 2006. I bet Rollercoaster tycoon 1 looked epic on HD! Oh wait RCT didn't had HD back then...

  • Core 2 Quad pwns this (:

  • @hardstyle905 errr no it doesnt, this is 6ghz on a single core....for single threaded apps this thing would be a beast, not that the guy got anywhere close to 6ghz stable, nevermind game usage, nevermind 24/7 usage...

  • It's over SIX THOUSAND!

  • yeah so i bet it bluescreens every 5 minutes...

  • I like your dry ice based heat sink sometimes wish I could do that on my laptop it gets blazing hot for no apparent reason sometimes.

  • why do people do this? what is the point... what do you need 6ghz for that is just overkill and id much rather not have to keep filling my cooler with dry ice every 5mins... no thanks, ill stick with my liquid cooler

  • @BrianAppleton1 ...It's the challenge of getting that processor to 6ghz without frying it, obviously you're gonna need something better than water wetter, and a radiator/pelter system.

  • i have AMDV140 2.30GHz processor but when i run cpuz its only shoving 800 MHz clock speed. How to change it to full 2.30 GHz???????? what should i do????????

  • @dragon96186 check u have power settings set to high performance (in win7/vista go to power options), turn on intel speedstep if availible/may need u to go into BIOS (if off the processor resorts to the slowest speed) use the program fetusnig is using to overclock to 2.3Ghz

  • stabylity test ?

  • #LOL

  • LOL

  • check out my OC P4 3.2 to 4GHz

  • Comment removed

  • @linemeks

At you but look at a Northwood P4 with for exa,ple 3 GHz

  • @linemeks Booom!!! :D

  • OHHHHHHH yaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh i respect the guy's with her paintball glove :) XD

  • Comment removed

  • @007agent0007

This was made in 2006 dumbass -.-

  • @Pedroxpvista it is nice to have 6ghz cpu in year 2006 :D #LOL

  • meh it still cant run tetris

  • nice graphics.

  • THIS IS A TEST MONITOR !! -.-

  • Woah..this is a hacker monitor!

  • @dehBix ppl had these back in the days tbh

  • what a massive screen. i wish i had it .

    not :)

  • I like your HD monitor.

  • @xAvPSxlMastelR Top of the line baby, something you'll never know about haha jk

  • @xAvPSxlMastelR Hmmm 240Hz refresh rate I guess, right?

  • @xAvPSxlMastelR It is a very good fullhd monitor not an hd monitor.... lol

  • lol is it windows ME ?

  • THAT SCREEN IS HUGE what is this 1995??

  • haha at end bsod

  • 2 questions, did it survive?

and do you think you could boot it at 6? surely a bios overclock would be more stable than software.

  • @crabid Most likey he overclocked in windows because it wouldn't have been stable for long but it is possible to overclock it to 6ghz, if he overclocked in bios it wouldn't have booted or posted so he would've had no way of showing us that it's possible

  • lol, i think microsoft doesnt want your PC to go that fast, only theyre allowed to do that

  • boar sind die dumm :d denken das kommt vom programm das der rechner das nicht schaft :D Noobs ey echt

  • @NeijeX wo von redest du ?!?

  • Gotta love seeing the Blue screen of death at the end!

  • I'm surprised the program allows it to go this high.

  • run benchmark on it plz

  • this is a load of shit come on if hes pc was that good he wouldnt put windows in classic mode

  • @09hudsond

classic mode in XP eats up more power.

  • on the contrary, classic mode "eats" very less power.

  • @Metalozedex

ok then switch to it and check your system before and after.

  • this is kinda retarded do u actually see a huge diffrence?

  • what is that software that you are using pleeeaase tell me

  • @ameech1 read teh fukken description u retard.

"Overclocking a Pentium 4 3.4ghz to 6ghz using dry ice.

Booted the system around 5ghz from there I used the Asus overclocking utility AIbooster."

    >Booted the system around 5ghz from there I used the Asus overclocking utility AIbooster

    >Booted the system around 5ghz - bios

    >from there I used the Asus overclocking utility AIbooster - do i really need to explain?

  • do it to i7 now

  • Dry ice isn't cold enough to oc it to 6 Ghz without damaging your cpu after a while.

  • @SPARTANB064

u dont know shit do you?

  • pyöriikö crysis?

  • i have actually under clocked my CPU to prevent blue screens such as seen in this video.

  • @edmund94232 you have no knowledge of how CPU's work then.

  • @blakei21 What do you mean?

  • @edmund94232 then ur pc is unstable and gay

  • wow man, thats genius. im going to drop my pc to 500MHz after reading this

  • I would use water with alot of ice cubes and a spoon of salt, water gets very cold but doesn't freeze cause of the salt

  • so no i finally can play tetris?

  • how does it do with games?

  • i just got a boner.

  • it was a brilliant fraction of a second :)

  • try to use nitrogen next time

  • @forrunescapeucoz Actualy ice cubes are apretty damn good idea would done it different but still it´s pretty clever

  • @Bvzijverden ice cubes for overclocking?? are you serious?? regular freezer ice is typically 0 degreesC, dry ice is under -70'C and LIN is under -190'C

  • @sean12ab34cd He is using dry ice if you read the description.

  • @NOOBNUT08 i was replying to someone who said he was using regular ice, if you read my post. maybe you should hold back on flaming someone to read the description!!!! fkn noobs

  • @sean12ab34cd dude hes definetley using dry ice. dry ice is c02 cooled to -109.3 degrees ferenhiet.

  • @rweiii1 for fucks sake, see below regarding my comment about ice, and i live in australia where we use celsius and not fahrenheit,

i wish dipshits would read before they post. i posted a REPLY

  • @sean12ab34cd Haha well my frezer is set to -18C it's starts defreezing at 0C ( sorry for some languae mistakes, dutch you know ) but it is very funny how all the guys are saying '' he is using dry ice '' and you just trpping because there so dumd xD xD

  • @sean12ab34cd I think you should chillax! (see what I did there =P)

  • Now run pc mark and show the scores...

  • Lawsy annoying music..

  • My Pentium D 965 runs at 4.2 GHZ with stock air cooler smoothly.

  • @suryakiller That's a good processor! How did you overclock it to 4Ghz?

  • @platinum243125 i just used the bios to change the frequency and set the multiplier to 15 instead of 12

  • That was nice Wish theyd make a stock p4 at them speeds becasue the faster a p4 chip is the better it is *it likes high speeds*

  • eh you guys dont understand, a power surge could fry a good monitor, so youd never use a 40 inch hdmi/dvi screen for some dumbass shit like this

  • Its a bit like taking a shitty old car and making it go 200mph......only how you did it was push it off a cliff.

You can't USE it at that speed. Infact you'll probably never use it again after that. But it's fun to see it happen....waiting for the inevitable crash.

  • LOL wow.

  • Oh God...

  • i bet this lags on farmville

  • @sonyboy97 trust me,it does

  • @sonyboy97 hhahahahaha

  • @sonyboy97 haha

  • how 'bout changing the monitor?

  • The funny thing is that the BSOD was in NO WAY caused by the extreme heat.

  • @BumbleBeest9000 BSOD happened probably because the driver was not meant to control those speeds.

  • Comment removed

  • if we do it on that way sure you get a higher overclock

  • Run a benchmark. Try do get super mario galaxy on dolphin to run at full speed or something.

  • nerd porn

  • You've got a 6ghz processor and a 2000 year old monitor?

  • @xXninjastatusXx lol i know right

  • @xXninjastatusXx maby because u get slightly less fps with an LCD screen

  • @xXninjastatusXx Even my 1998 monitor was better than this.

  • lol ur using software to overclock. FAIL.

    SUX.

    REal Overclockers always use BioS

im guessing your voltage at bios is on AUTO. haha amateur.

  • @likaric why do you insulting people? and why dont you read description?

but sorry for criticism, youre the pro. you use dry ice and stuff all day to get ur computer running at 6ghz, right? if you try this yourself you even dont get to a blue screen or shit, you will just kill your system i bet

  • @likaric

    "Occupation: Hacking"

    /facepalm

  • @likaric

    moron read the description

  • why need dry ice?

  • @man13preet dry ice is super cold so it can cool the processor so it doesn't melt under the heat

  • nice monitor...

  • the p4 originally has a cpu speed with 3.06 ghz

  • Fetusnig, I don't know if you're still reading comments. But can you still reach that speed if you put on your normal fan again? I was just wondering if this overclocking is really useful if you have to use dry ice...

  • @ztev13 no he won't the P4 is a 90nm core which get very hot.

and @Yaniironbin this is a 3.4ghz it tells you in the info.

Im sure i have the same cpu i think is was the 3.4ghz 530 chip, 800fsb

  • @ElectronicPleasure it's a Cedar Mill, so it's 65 nm

  • NIce moniter!!! XD

  • how do i overclock my p4 3.4??

  • @Mrexa2010 you better take on the intel core 2 quad q6600. its an excellent chip and its very low in price. coz pentium 4 even after overclocking wont let you multitask that much as a quad core system can provide. check out my video. i multitasked heavily.

  • Liquid Nitrogen..... Such cheataz! TRY SUPRAFLUID HELIUM!!!!!! it's colder, and makes more fun ;-)

  • If he made Blue Screen of Death u can count it as an unsuccessful overclocking. What's the sense if he makes BSOD.

  • Holy.

  • cathode ray tube screen ftw

  • What program are you using to overclock your p4?

  • @GameBoy2036 read description

  • @GameBoy2036he is using the asus overclocking tool.

try clockgen that a good overclock tool, and verry easy to use :D

  • hii how do i overclock my system here are the specs

    pentium4 HT LGA 775 cpu @ 3.40Ghz

    1GB of DDR400 ram

    250GB sata hard disk

    MSI-Nvidia 8400gs graphics card

    Lite-on 22x dvd burner

i am running windows 7 home premium 32-bit OS

i would really appreciate it if someone can help me i hope you can maybe send me the info to my email thanks and sorry for using your post :)

  • maybe you can send me the info to me on msn or something im not sure how this works i am a first time user of youtube

  • Take ur Pc on planet pluto and overclock

ur pantium 4 from 3.40 GHz to 99.99GHz

who knws u will also get overclocked..........................

  • @ThePiousheart the funny thing is it will get more and more powerful when it's colder and has the appropriate power source, but it will reach a point when it will stop completely.

  • does this work with any motherboard?

  • Extreme Edition??? my 3,2 P4 ee reachs more than 4ghz with gygabite GcoolerPro and ASp4i65GV

  • still garbage lol

  • the audio isn't bad.what is it? remainds me Lords of acid

  • 6,0 Ghz Conchetumadreeeee la wea podereosa !

  • stop playing on microwave. buy new monitor at least!!

  • @DanaAst液晶モニターはブラウン管に劣ってすべての方法です。

  • @DanaAst LMFAO

  • @DanaAst this was 2006.

  • @GT5Enthusiast

So? We all had LCD screen in 2006.

  • @DanaAst AHAH omg microwave

  • what is he using to overclock with

  • Read description.

  • what is he using to overclock with

  • you fuckin conpsericey motherfucker saintliness

  • @bluedeval u r a fag 666 ratings is badass for a badass overclock nigger tit fucker.

  • what happens when you get BSOD?

can you turn the computer on again with no problem or are you basicly fucked with BSOD every time you boot up?

  • The majority of overclocking programs don't take effect once the computer restarts. Unless you overclock from the bios, which is a terrible idea unless you know what you're doing, once the computer resets you're back to stock speeds until you open the program again.

    Jeez Wmg Calm down

  • @SmashCOBamberg um vista works... with this WMG thing

  • @SmashCOBamberg Wanna know something ? Everyone can hear the song. Who cares about that copyright, then ? If you can't hear it, throw your computer from your window and buy a new one

  • @tonytober look at the date of my comment before responding. The audio is NOT disabled anymore but it has been before,

  • BSOD :-D :-D

  • 6000 nice on but stable nope

  • @davedtine obviously its not stable

  • MMMnn ....me thinks this could be fake. Those sort of speeds would normally be acheived using LN2 not dry ice.

  • ;D BSOD

  • 1:08 XD

  • @fxcat123 the screen of death xd

  • wmg youtube why think about it stop removing audio

  • @computerchris122 agreed

  • my comp has a p4 3.2 still in the making need better graphics card and more ram

  • Now do this with the Core i7 ;)

  • WOL, he got a Blue Screen of Death at the end. I'm getting a Pentium 4 3.2ghz soon, but if I overclock it it's not gonna be that much, maybe to 3.6 or so :/.

  • wow can you really overclock your processor by chilling it, or does it require some sort of modification?
