its speed is governed at 147. but aure the 430 vette isn't supercar but the 650hp most certainly is. as far as honda and exige, i was really refering to the elise since its just about 10G over the CR s2000's
the newer exiges pull off about 9-11 in the quarter, about 4 seconds in the 0-60 AND it gets 25-27 MPG (or higher if you know how to drive). your ford, although very impressive just can't do both (or any other car in the exige class)
uhh no 13.52 at a 102 mhp ,,, a eternity on a drag strip , not even close to a 10 ,,, and thatexidge not the elise ,, and if i switch to alcohol , like they burn in the exidge i to would double my horse power and torque that would be over 2000 horse but thats hard on oil and parts ,,, trust me its best suited on a track NOT a drag strip
they are supposed to be pretty cheap compared to the other super cars. of course i can't find any info on their price, only that they are a fraction of the price of farriris and paganis

its top speed is 157 and its an excellent track car. Why is everyone so obsessed with running fast straight lines? you will never go over 100 in any car you own if even and if u get caught going 100 id rather have a car that can handle than one that can top out at speeds which can only be obtained on an impossibly long speed strip... 157 is plenty speed not to mention it keeps sp much more speed on corners

It has motivated me to become a dentist just so i can buy one of these things with the high dentist salary. $70,000 for a car whos 0-60 is 4.0 and handles like a go cart... cant beat that. plus it looks so sexy. i live in this place called america... We have lotus dealer ships in america. If i have a liscense i can test drive a car... there is no shipping to test drive a car. All i got to do is drive 15 miles from my house down to the nearest lotus dealership. not that hard theres no shipping involved... work the price down as low as it can go and sign a few contracts and i got my car. not that hard.

i never said anything about drag racing and the elise is the slowest lotus model! this video is about the exige not elise and the lotus exige is way better than the ultima gtr on turns. the gtr has a governor so you cant make most track turns to thier full potential and the exiges quarter mile is 13.0 but no one buys an exige for drag racing they buy it because its a great all around car. and good luck with your drag races because once the cops show itll suck when you car only goes good straight

Exige is a hardcore hardtop Elise. Everything about it is more hardcore. Exige while is road legal is generally considered a track day car because It's a too rough for daily driving.
Elise isn't exactly a daily driver it self but more road friendly then the Exige none the less.
The difference is primarily the engine performance, and possibly the suspension. That's mainly it. I know the big Lotus fans will probably try to downvote me because I skimped on details or something. pft

Well actually, I have my permit but he doesn't let anyone drive it only he drives it. But he's let my drive his 308gts-i(all original my dads the second owner) before it was pretty awesome, sure it alot older than the lotus but it was more expensive when lotus was new.
wouldn't it make sense to buy the least expensive Elise, and remove more interiors & tools, and throw in a high performance supercharger to make the Exige S240 ?
