Reiner Humus ist für keine Vogelspinnenart geeignet!

Er ist weder trittfest noch grabfähig und ist entweder nass oder staubtrocken.

Wenn 1% der User, die das Video gesehen haben, aufgrund deiner Fehlinformation ihr Terrarium mit Humus füllen, wären das momentan ~800 Vogelspinnen die falsch gehalten werden - fatal!

Wenn dir was an den Tieren liegt, solltest du das Video neu drehen...aber richtig.

@thenebelwerk Ich nutze Wassergel schon seit rund 9 Jahre. Also ich gebe das Wassergel in die Schüssel und befülle diese immer nur bis zu hälfte und dann füll ich den rest mit leitungswasser (oder destiliertes Wasser) auf. Hält leciht 3 Wochen wenn man immer wieder mal etwas Wasser nachleert. Nach 3 Wochen wechsle ich es, egal ob es noch gut aussieht. Nach 3 wochen wird gewechselt. Natürlich wenn die Spinne reinkotet (was des öfteren Vorkommt) dann früher. Darauf achten das es CHLORFREI ist

pink toes are highly arboreal provide lots of places to climb and make its tunnel and it wont matter when is on the bottom because hell never be there lol. if you get a terrestrial species though mix in peat moss or something

the best thing for a pink toe is a vertical cage....i had one but it died in the winter=( mine only had 7 legs too its was sweet and they are fast !!! if they escape all u gotta do is look up

tbo dont use sand, not saying its bad and all but not recomeded it all depends where the species is from and what enviroment it will do well in for ground Ts i would say use Coco begging same stuff Dr uses here and make it a few incs deep so the spider can burrow if they want ( this makes them feel more save and secure e.g. not as stresset :D.

also great tank Dr i am guessing the T at the end is a form of Bird eater? ( dont know my spiders that much :(

I had an infestation of those pesky white mites. The only way I got rid of them was I threw away all my T's old substrate, and started heating the new substrate in the microware for 10 min, haven't seen a white mite yet.

actually they do need hetaing from high seventys to low eightys generally if its too cold they will be sluggish and slowlt lose feeling in there legs and wont have the power to stand and will curl and die sadly its best to heat by air so get like a small home ceramic heater and set it on low and put it next to it

these cages are used a lot in europe douche bag. don't give him shit. the ventilation is in the back, top or front. because you did not get the entire perspective of the cage, you can't make the assumption that there is no ventilation, so you should think before you give people shit for working hard to show people how to set up a nice cage

I dont use a heat mat because they could be dangerous to them if they moult. But it on the side or on the back OUTSIDE of the cage. Never UNDER the cage.
