Here are the details: the robot (Lego Mindstorm NXT, with mounted Linksys Wireless Webcam) is controlled via bluetooth from a notebook. On the notebook a tomcat java application server (with some bluetooth libraries) is running. This server gets input from any webclient = browser and then transmits commands to the robot via bluetooth. In this case the iphone safari webclient connects to the server = notebook via a wireless lan connection.
