wow, after watching American Idol for a little while I see how much better are successful singers - I'm always muttering at the TV "pitchy! pitchy!" - whereas the "undiscovered" singers taht people love are clearly much better - maybe it's because they stick to their personal best range and style, and not try to do a song in every style - this is a sweet tune, upbeat & fun - and genuine

This works so well! A few points, too - no auto-tune here; there are a couple of slightly (and charmingly) pitchy moments. Also, the use of the keyboard is no more "cheating" than when Kurt used electric guitar on "Man Who Sold The World" during the Nirvana Unplugged set. Both decisions were tasteful and still kept the intimate mood intact.
