1 Corinthians 15:57-58 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain
@oceantoo1 This is from the Old Testament. It starts in Ezekiel 36:24 " 'For I will take you out of the nations; I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land. 25 I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols.
This is a beautiful passage. I would post more of it but the comment limit wont let me... Please read the passage.
Nice video. But Sprinkling as a form of baptism was never a teaching from original scripture. The Doctrine of Baptism by sprinkling didn't become apart of churches teaching until the year of 1311 AD. That makes it a doctrine that men made up. Other than that it was a nice video.
@oceantoo1 Um, this song is a direct quote from Scripture, in Ezekiel 36, where God tells the people HE will sprinkle clean water on them. so...hm, maybe the idea of sprinkling predates 1311 AD, eh? Since it is in the OLD TESTAMENT, in the promise of the new covenant. The reference is Ezekiel 36:24-28 The lyrics to this song are DIRECTLY from that passage. Word for word. Read your Bible.

Especially after reading John 5 ... think it's the first five verses or so, relating to the new birth. Amazing.

@oceantoo1 Yes, I tried to tell this to Zeffirelli back in 1976 when he directed the film, but he just wouldn't listen.
