@Throatslicker I don't understand that; personally, I think Slipknot is almost unbearable to listen to. Aborted has fresh, unique and catchy riffs, technical and again catchy drums, and unique and brutal, but still listenable, vocals.

I could listen to Aborted all day. I turn Slipknot off immediately. It's got nothing to do with whose considered more metal.. Aborted is just way better.

@Territ0ri0 I like Slipknot AND Aborted but it's not the same style so can't be compared. It's a shame to see so many people saying Slipknot are metal gods when there are so many excellent bands... I've been one of these "Slipknot kids" thinking mick was the best guitar player ever, but i grew getting more and more brutal. So if all the kids of now get (intelligently) into death as I did the metal army will get stronger.

Or i am an exception and all the slipknot kids will stay kids.

You can like this: Slipknot is more musical whereas this is more technical. This is way more complex and for people into the deeper parts of metal and understand metal this sounds better. To people not in that boat who don't understand metal so much but like idea of listening to metal slipknot sounds better.
