Don't know about that but it would not be surprising, given the hype of Gina. Young had to come up in weight which is never a good thing Gina, being a heavy striker, and Young being an aggressive fighter herself, it was bound to go to the fighter who came down in weight (Gina) due to her amazing punching power.

All in all, it was a bad fight for Young, and an easy fight for Gina before Santos gave her a dose of reality.

Holy crap! I met her back in 2005 when we did a little bit of weight training together in college. All I knew at the time was that she was a TKD competitor and amateur muay thai fighter. I don't think Gina kicked the shit out of Kat at all, it was a fairly even fight until the end and Gina looked better on the ground but givin the size difference I think kat did very well, everybody needs to go watch that fight again and quit lookin at just what Gina did, watch what kat did too!!
