  • SPEEDY,SPEEDYY,SPEEDYYY und SPEDDYYYYYYYY!!!!!!

  • LOVELY FUCKIN PLACE WHERE IS IT?

  • I like this video as a comparison between the sound of a twin, triple and 4 pot. I want the triple!

  • ive had a trumpet and an r6(no dont laugh)and i still have a buell.would swap it for anything on the market at the minute.the triumph was a good useable tool, the r6 well they are poor mans r 1,s and i dont rate them to high.mind you the big bore kit reworked heads cams ecu and jardin exhaust might help a bit but they are a shit hot bike if you leave em alone.any one who owns a big twin gets laid, they vibtrate like a dog shitting razerblades.to me its a ride out to her its foreplay.nuff said

  • @phycohogbeast the r6 is the poor mans bike? lmfao what a retarded thing to say. Well, I guess it balances out cause only a retard would say that.

  • @TheTruthHurtsYup oh which of the two is the better bike hmmmmm that would be the r1 then so the r6 is obviously the lesser and cheaper of the two, hence a poor mans r1 dipstick.i got the r6 thrown in with a deal, never had a r1 thrown at me,if they are been thrown you dont get much lower than that, and you have an r6 grow up and get an r1 and see the differance, untill then shut it

  • @phycohogbeast <- retard.

  • @TheTruthHurtsYup is that it,retard again?i bet you have not even done a cbt you sad little chav want to be.in stead of spending your life watching other people live theres,go and do it for yourself.then you might have an oppinion about something.

  • @phycohogbeast everything you say it about a dumb as can be, not much else I can say to that. A R6 was given to you, therefore a R6 is a poor mans bike? WTF, listen to yourself. retard.

  • A Buell will get you laid--if you're a girl.

  • Buell thunders, Triumph rocks, Yamaha whines

  • does buell beat the jap bikes ? or is it slow ?

  • @salchipapa8000 it depends on the rider and what kind of race.. drag racing the Buell is not a big winner, on tight twisty roads yeah the Buell is very good. The best thing the Buell XB12 oe XB9 is for is STUNTS, the best off the shelf stunt bike EVER, and a Buell will get you laid, ALOT!

  • Gotta love V-Twin power and sound

  • Also man muss schon sagen. Japaner hören sich einfach scheisse an!

Geht halt nix über ne Buell

  • Buell's are sex. Triumphs are my personal close second. Lot's of respect for the R6 but not my type.

  • I thought you guy were gonna race. :/ But nice bikes :)

  • haha, der reiskocher schaeumt ja fast ueber...

  • R6 like a screaming

  • und nu ??? back mal den becher beiseite von yamaha....

  • i wanta eat the fart 0:25

  • i wanta eat the fart 0.25

  • The Buell sounds the best.

  • I am off to google shark tonic exhaust for my Speedy ;)

  • pure sound..thanks for the video

  • 0:25 delicious fart :D

  • triple please

  • As cool as the R6 and the triumph are, that Buell just sounds so goddamn good lol. Very deep tone.

  • the sound of R6 is a beast

  • Why did you get the guy with Pakinson's Disease to hold the camera?

  • @gmiller883 It was the thunderous vibrations from the Buell going by that shook the ground under him and caused the camera to vibrate.

  • @gmiller883

    LOL

  • FAQ

1.No that is not a fart. Its the leather racing suit of the guy with the cam!

    2. The exhaust on the s3 is a "Shark Tonic"

3.The exhaust on the Buell is a Sebring

  • @CrocodileHunter666 Shark CONIC

  • damn that buell sound so good

  • hast du bei sekunde 26 gefurtzt?

  • @michajcw

Nein man das ist die Lederkombi von dem der gefilmt hat!

  • @CrocodileHunter666

dann soll der Kollege mal seine Combie Fetten/Ölen. (:

  • bei sec. 26 hast du da gefurtzt (:

  • what the exhaust in the street please?

    beautiful song

  • ill have the triple, just for the character of the English hooligans.

  • rubbish sound the buell

  • V twin sounds cool, triple sounds cool, inline 4 sounds cool. Three different bikes. I ride an R6 but I enjoy all bikes. I also have a diverse riding crew. Good thing we're not all so shallow minded as to make fun of every type bike but one. If we took the time to learn about the different characteristics of each machine, we'd be less apt to make uneducated remarks about one. I think all of these bikes have pretty much proven themselves. And the "sewing machine" has a fine pedigree.

  • did somebody fart in the vid or was it the yam. haha

  • Buell exhaust note sucks!

  • the buell twin and the triumph triple sound the bollocks, the yam sounds like a sewing machine..............

  • R6 won

  • @xdrepslol did not see the three bikes line up against each other.

the speed tripple sounds like it got ball's as dose the buell, the R6 sounds like a sewing machine

  • @hot318 absolutely love the r6's sound...angry note

  • Is that a windmill or are you just happy to see me?

  • When the Buell pulls away at 0:46 you can see the exhaust on the S3. Definitely an aftermarket low-mount. I'm about to buy a Trident but I might change my mind if I can find out what that is.

  • I have a 675 Daytona myself and the Engine is amazing. Way more torque then the R6 makes it so much more better thru corners and speeding from light to light around town. That's a Triumph Street Triple in this vid. It's reving way to high to be a Speed. Thats the stock exhaust on it, maybe a Arrow.

  • It's not a Street Triple, it's a Speed triple (I own one). The Street triple doesnt look the same, and has a higher pitch (though sounds just as good). Keep in mind that the Speed still revs at around 10000rpm ( the Street Triple limits at around 13800rpm.) so its far from being a low reving bike like a Buell...

  • DEFINATELY a speed triple, look at the chassis at the beginning of the video....

  • What exhaust does the Speed Triple have? That sounds mean!!

  • i like the buell but they both seemed equaly fast

  • Good sound comparisons here. I love all bikes and sounds. I'm still deciding which sound I prefer--Haven't owned enough bikes yet. Too bad I can't have one of each. I have a cbr600 and an aprilia sl1000 falco so I have the twin and shrieking I4 sound covered. I'm thinking about getting rid of the cbr and getting a street triple. Once the aprilia v4 is affordable to me that will be on my list. I have a feeling the v4 sound will be the best but I still will need variety with two bikes.

  • I'm right there in your camp!

I have a CBR600 and 2yrs ago I bought a new Aprilia RSV1000R Factory (gotta love that V-twin sound w/ Akrapovic cans). I too was thinking of replacing the CBR w/ the StreetTripR but got a screamin' deal on a Speedy and kept the CBR in my stable. I LOVE the exhaust note of the triple, and it is just FUN FUN FUN!!!

If I had to choose between the CBR and a Triple, I'd go for the Triumph!

    You will LOVE it too!!!

Would love to get my hands on a RSV4 next!

  • The Triumph only sounds mean, the Yammy is boring and homogenized. I don't know what the point of the video was, and prefer the 1125R and the XB9R to the 12R. My hat is off to Eric Buell and the fine and innovative bikes he creates.

  • the yamaha sounds like what a sports super bike should sound like, and they did it perfectly and considering the engine power on the r6 compared to the others kudos to it

  • triumph only sound...?!???? I think that you've see a triumph just in picture

  • The R6 sounds like a 125ccm scoot compared to the buell ;-)

  • Triumph!

  • 1a wheelie Kim :-)

  • what exhaust did the speed triple have on it???

  • at 0:24 the sound of a fart reigns supreme. le firebult, wui, wui.

  • damn you're right, at 1.14 too!! listen carefully the cameraman had eaten too much beans!!!

  • i love the sound of a buell.

  • this particular buell does not have the rotax eng in it. it's the thunderstorm 1203cc

  • yesterday i hit 110 on my 1125r. still under 400 miles and breaking her in. she's fiesty... got up to 125 on my xb12s. my wife inherited that bike.

  • BUELL

  • That Triumph sounds fucking MEAN. I love it.

  • ive ridden all three of these bikes. i would have to say triumph is the best all around of the three. the rotax engine in the buell is considered as one of the best powerplants around. and to compare the r6 to any of these is just dumb. if im goin to the track, id always take the r6. but if i was just messin around off the race track, id consider the truimph, always. I'd have to say the speed triple has the best handling and powerband. buell is a great bike but as of december, theyre out of biz

  • moandeep, What does 11 second 1/4 mile times and 150 mph have to do with that hardly davisin, or for that matter, a lawn mower? Damn you americans are just plain stupid. I bet you actually did ride one of those hardlys, and your infantile penis got a funny feeling from all the vibration. You obese perv!

  • No, I'm not American. Nationality has got nothing to do with intelligence. I certainly don't have an infantile penis but you certainly have made some very immature comments.

Buell is a US motorcycle manufacturer that up to 2007 used Harley Davidson motors for 14 years. Since 2007 Buell has used a Rotax designed V-twin with 109 kw. You wrote that Buell belongs with a lawnmower test, not me. The Harley engined Buells were capable of sub 12 second 1/4 miles. The 2009 Buell, sub 11 sec

  • love speed triples sooo much i am on my 3rd one, had a 2001 955i, a 2003 955i and i now have a 2005 1050 and i dont think i will ever sell it unless its for another one just such a great engine, love the buell's looks but i would never have one, as for the r6 well thats just a load of crap imo just another high erevving inline 4 wiv no grunt.

  • For a load of crap it sure does well in world supersports, Isle Of man and production races. I certainly won't be asking your opinion when I'm purchasing a motorcycle.

  • well if you want to do world supersport or compete in the TT then i guess you are right but i ride bikes on the road not a race track so i dont get influenced by racing because i dont do it, i ride on the road and on the road the triumph is a much better bike than the other 2

  • How come you had to buy a new Triumph every 2 years. If it's so good I would think you would keep it a bit longer. It's a bit hard to compare bikes of different capacities. Better to compare 600 Triumph with 600 4 cyl Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki or Honda and 1050 Triumph with 1 litre bikes. If you compare as you do then I could say the 1050 is gutless compared to the ZX14. In any case there are hardly any crap bikes these days, just different tools for different jobs and different opinions.

  • again if you like twisty roads the zx 14 isnt as good as a triple or a twin because its a straight 4 i still like the look of them and everything but thay jast not as good on the road because you have got to rev the fuck out of them all the time, trust me try all three of these bikes and you will see what i am saying. As for why i kept swapping my speed triple, its because the model got better over time different designs and more power, no other reason than that, and i can afford to so why not.

  • the triple sounds the best and is the best looking!

  • TRIUMPH FTW!!! buell is nice too good performance for having a low rpm tractor engine (sounds sweet IMO I want one) R6? hmm... MAINSTREAM inline4 with poor torque haha

  • You show us how it's done by posting your own video as your such an expert on wheelies.

  • buell sounds like a popcorn maker ^^

  • distemperpk: Better than sounding like a weedeater.

  • If I could hear your voice, you would probably sound like an idiot.

  • Damn I love the sound of the R6. What year is that? I have a 2000 with a MIG full exhaust and it sounds mean!

  • The byull belongs with the riding lawnmower tests. It does not belong with high performance motorcycles.

  • You can't even spell the name of the bike let alone make a reasonable comment. The Buell is an alternative to Japanese high performance motorcycles. It doesn't have the peak power but it does have usuable performance in the bottom and mid range and good handling. Unless lawnmowers can achieve 11 second 1/4 mile times and 150 mph top speeds then your comment is idiotic. I doubt you have ridden an XBR, which I have and while I wouldn't buy one, I'm not so biased as to make childish comments.

  • does somebody fart at 0:26? ;)

  • ahahahahhahahhaha actually yes ahahhahaha you're right damn I'm shiting my pants of laugh

  • Good call - well spotted!!

  • triumph sound kills them all!!!

  • Was hat die Speed Triple für eine Anlage drann?

  • what kind of exhaust is on the buell?

  • Sebring exhaust!

  • hahaha someone deleted my comments because they had some fact and knowledge behind them, i dont care what the manual, or website says im a harley service writer on a dyno 12's and 9's put damn near the same exact torque 12's have a bit more hp tho. But im not a youtube whiner just helping put some fact out there

  • wankers.all of you.

  • Die Speed Triple hat ja wohl den geilsten sound!

  • The Yamaha sounds the best. I like a high-pitched scream. The Triumph sounds good too. The Buell sounds like crap though. I don't understand why anyone would want a sportbike to sound like that. Totally unexciting.

  • because sounds like a roar ... nothing like it on a 4 inline

  • do you really like that insectoid whine???? I'll take a bike with a grunt personally....

  • That "grunt" suits a Harley, but it doesn't suit a sportbike. It sounds too slow and unexciting.

  • that "slow and unexciting" bike would demolish the r6 in any kind of race though.

  • No, it won't. The R6 is quicker in the 1/4 mile, top speed and on a race track. Below are some numbers from german mag Motorrad. Seems to me like the Buell doesn't stand a chance.

    Buell XB12

    0 - 100 km/h 3,9 s

    0 - 140 km/h 6,5 s

    0 - 200 km/h 15,2 s

    Yamaha R6

    0 - 100 km/h 3,5 s

    0 - 140 km/h 5,2 s

    0 - 200 km/h 9,7 s

  • i dont know which guy you reply but why u compare those two bikes ? buell - r6 ?

U got a buell just for its V brutal sound for its opposite front brake single disc and for its HD culture which is hiding deep inside its engine !

U got a r6 cause u r just another common guy who likes to run more than 250km/h in 10sec or something with a SS bike

Sry for my awful english :P

  • Sign!

    So siehts mal aus!

Reisfresser haben alle! Meine Freunde fahren gsxr 750 ,s3, r6, r1 usw aber rate mal wer die blicke erntet wenn ich den Bock anschmeiße ;-)!!!!!

  • I compared those two bikes because "usernameoftheweek" said the Buell would "demolish" the R6. That's just utter BS.

Personally I would get the R6 because it looks, better, performs better and sounds better. Everybody have their own reasons. If you like the Buell better then good for you.

  • Uh..Dude. the xb12r would own an r6 on a track. the Buel is a 100% track bike... It has almost 100more wheel tq than your average 600. It's also lighter, so It can come out of the corners very quickly.

There is a xb12r that hangs with a few of us 1 liter guys and he can hang very good in the clovers

  • Comment removed

  • Nope. The XB12R is about 25lbs HEAVIER than an R6 with a full tank. Also, it has 30 lb-ft more torque, not 100.

The Buell is mainly a street bike, not a track bike. The japanese 600s are race replicas and as close to a track bike as you're going to get off the showroom floor.

The Buell wouldn't win on the race track. Even the purpose built 1330cc XBRR was beaten by the 600s. The quickest bike Buell builds right now is the 1125R, but that bike still struggles against the 600s in AMA DSB.

  • the 1125R has won at RA many times in STOCK trim. wtf are you talking about.

The TQ curve is almost flat, there is power everywhere. They can exit a corner SO much faster than any 600 can with there un-even powerband.

And I said the 12r has double the tq not 100 more? and it does. it has twice as much wheel tq as the r6.

You are clearly just a fanboy who knows how to google. I respect all bikes but do not say that buells suck by any menas.

  • You said "It has almost 100more wheel tq than your average 600". That is a copy paste from your own comment. You might want to re-read your own comment if you don't believe me.

A jap 600 dynos at ~45 lb-ft and the XB12R dynos at ~75lb-ft. Since when is 75 twice as much as 45?

The 1125R may be on par, or even a little quicker than a stock 600, but the XB12R is not.

  • im pretty sure 100km/h translates to 62 mph and if so those numbers are way off cuz my xb9r runs to 60 in 3.2 and its got a few less horses then a 12, same torque

  • The XB9R does not have as much torque as the XB12R. Look again.

  • Is that a Sebring exhaust on the Buell? Sounds awesome!

  • Yes, it is a Sebring exhaust.

  • Did you have any problems with the German TÜV?

  • No never. Sound is somuch better compared to the original exhaust!

  • Triumph sounds best. Buell sounds like a harley, which it is more or less. I do like the scream of the Yamaha though.

I have a S3 so am kind of biased

  • They all sound good but gotta go with the buell

  • Triumph, best of these

  • Triumph sounds awesome, but I still kinda prefer inline 4 engines, so R6 takes the win. I just love high reving motorbikes.

Buell sounds boring as hell to me

  • Oh really? Thats very strange. Last i knew, the speed triple is an inline motor...CAUSE IT IS.

And it doesn't rev high enough for you? The speed triple's redline is only 1.5k lower than a Yamaha R1. That doesn't seem too low to me.

  • Did I ever say Triumph was anything else than inline? I meant I prefer inline 4-cylinder engines over inline 3.

  • but the speed triple makes power from as low as 3k all the way to 9100 rpm thats what makes it a far better engine, the 600's are all like 2-strokes you have to keep them buzzing to get anything out of them, with a twin or a triple you can just power out of everything regardless of it being in the "right gear".

  • That harley engine is a peach in the Buell, sounds better with open pipes. Easily the better sounding

  • TRIUMPH!!!

  • Triumph at its best !!

  • the Speed Triple sounds great, which exhaust is this?

  • I gotta admit, that buell did sound pretty nice. but stick the m4 can on the S3 and it blows the buell out of the water. sometimes, i feel like i'm cheating on my girl...I ride my S3 more than her!

  • so true im in the dog house becuz of it man................i guess its not all bad the speed triple is in there with me lol =)

  • Triumph best :Q_!!!

  • BUELL FTMFW

  • the buells may not be the fastest... but they look and sound SO SEXY

  • That's the first time I've heard or seen someone describe a Buell as sexy. But hey, without variety, we'd all be riding generic Japanese racer replicas.

  • Yeah variety is good, without variety everything would be boring. I'd never ride a Harley, but I don't "hate" them and I like to see people ride them.

But I do hate the sound of a Harley though lol.

  • Nothing else sounds as sexy as the Triple!!

  • TRiple fo sho

  • No. ALL BUELL

  • All triple!
