@112Phaeton Vom Evo würde mir nur das Innenleben und die Heckleuchten gefallen, der Grande gefällt mir von der Front her besser weil der nicht mehr so grinst und zwischen den beiden Frontgrills kann man nen schwarzen Balken machen daß es wie ein großer Audi-Grill wirkt, was auch besser aussieht als das Grinsen des neuen Punto Evo ;o)

@112Phaeton ... aus echtem Holzimitat ;o) Hab den Wagen gerne gefahren, besonders der V6 hat schön geröhrt. Wenn nur die Kosten für kommende Reparaturen nicht gekommen wären, dann hätte ich den sicher noch. Der Wagen wurde von einem aus Marseille gekauft ... daß jemand extra aus Südfrankreich nach Deutschland für den Wagen kommt, hat mich echt überrascht. Mein Händler hatte nicht gedacht daß der V6 so schnell weg geht, er hatte gedacht es wird ein Lagerhüter.

@112Phaeton Den 500 hatte ich mir auch überlegt, aber da war ich noch zurückhaltend weil es den noch nicht so lange gibt und insofern Kinderkrankheiten vielleicht noch vorprogrammiert sind. Wobei der insgesamt wohl besser in der Qualität sein soll wie der Punto.

well i have to agree.. the 407 is a bit to much :) i had my 406 now for 2 years, and just started rebuilding it now :) i chose the D8 version (the first one) only because it had an 2.0 liter turbo engine :) but i am about to facelift the front.. but i still want the "old" rear end, just thinks it looks better :)

Good decision ... it is a great car ... I miss my old 406 ... it is back in France now. Someone from Marseille bought it. Was becoming too expensive for me here.

Wirklich kein Vergleich, bei Tempo 200 schaltete ich beim 406 V6 grad mal in den fünften Gang ;o)

War ein tolles Auto, aber Reparaturen sehr teuer. Naja, wenn ich anschaue wie oft mein Neuwagen jetzt in der Werkstatt ist wegen Garantie-Ausbesserung, werde den wohl demnächst wieder abgeben. Merke doch immer wieder es kommt nicht nur aufs Design von Autos an.

Dann solltest du dir vielleicht auch einen Vectra kaufen!? Der größte Vorteil der Opels ist - von durchzugsstarken Motor abgesehen -, dass die Ersatzteile sehr preiswert sind. Und ein Vectra GTS mit entsprechendem Motor (3 Liter V6 mit 211PS) dürfte doch schon nach deinem Gusto sein. Zuzmal du diesen vielleicht sogar noch als Jahreswagen bekommen kannst. ;-)

Der GTS wäre sicher genial, nur ists nicht ganz meine Preisklasse. Finds schade daß die beim letzten Vectra das Facelift erst so spät gemacht haben. Sah bei weitem besser aus als vorher.

The V6 is also very rare here. Was a pretty good machine. I enjoyed to drive it but it became a bit too expensive for me about some fixings. So I gave it away. But the accelartion of the car was fantastic. At 200 km/h you press the pedal and it still has a great accelaration.

The movie Taxi was awesome. I have the three first parts of it. Haven't found part 4 in the shops yet. Part 1 and 2 were my favorit.

Ich mußte meinen leider her geben, da ich den noch auf Pump hatte und der Kundendienst mit ein paar Reparaturen zu teuer geworden wäre. Dafür hat den Wagen nun einer aus Marseille gekauft und kann einen auf Taxi Taxi machen ;o) War ein tolles Auto, bin den auch super gern gefahren! Würde ich jederzeit wieder wenns der Geldbeutel zuläßt ;o)

Yup, macht echt Spaß. Hab meinen aber nun verkauft, wurde mir zu teuer ... jedes Jahr 1000 Euro für Kundendienst und kleinere Reparaturen investiert und die großen Sachen sind noch garnicht gekommen. Wurde mir dann zu heikel jetzt wo er dann 8 Jahre alt war. Aber die Maschine die vermisse ich arg ...

Maybe because the ST24 is the lowest specs V6 of the mondeo range? Compare it to the ST200 and ther eboth relatively the same.

Mondeo ST200 PS: 204.8

Pugs V6 PS: 196.8

Mondeos Torque: 235.0nm

Pugs V6 Torque: 267.0nm

Mondeos 0-100km/h: 7.7 Seconds

Pug V6 0-100km/h: 8.2 seconds

Mondeos Top Speed: 144mph

Pug V6 Top Speed: 144mph

So, maybe next time, you need to compare it to a similiar spec? Oh, and dont forget the mondeo is a 2.5, compared to the pugs 3.0. ST220 is alot faster too.

HAHAHA! but its probably because the US has so many more requirements for putting a car on the road... when you put a lot of systems into a car, the probability of one breaking down at any moment is a lot higher than a car with much fewer systems. I know for a fact that the Morgan Aero 8 had to go through a whole body and system makeover to be able to be shipped and sold on the US market... stupid united states- only when it comes to these silly requirements :)

Battlefield, I got an 406 SV 2.0 (99), have you tried it?, do you know how it feels to jump to a 406 V6, is it true that it feels smother and more comfortable than the 2.0 version? my next goal is to buy a V6, (or the SV leather version 2.2).

well, I haven't tried the 2.0 yet ... happy with my 3.0 ;o) I drove a Daewoo Nubira 1.6 before and I must say a 6 cylinder is running way smoother and more quiet than a 4 cylinder.

That is one NICE car. I couldn't find a V6 in my price range and went for the petrol 2.2 HPi. My engine is having some trouble. If it is broken, I'm going to buy a V6 engine and have it fitted!

depends on the year of production ;o) My V6-3.0 benzin model of year 2000 is around 6000-8000 Euro here in Germany

It has a 3 litres V6 machine with 190 HP ... goes pretty fast ;o) I reached once 240 km/h with it. Really a fast and comfortable car from France.

Well, most parts of the Autobahn are limited to 120 km/h (regarding to bad roads in case of lots of transportation by trucks there) ... but some parts are still fine and we can drive as fast as our cars can go ;o)
