  • most any router can be mounted to a table. However the plunge routers make it more difficult to change bits. With a removeable base router, like the PC 690/890 series, you can removed the motor and then change the bit easily and then reinsert the motor into the base. For 3 years we used an import copycat of the makita plunge router in our school router tables, just had to do all bit changes from the top and it was a little more challenging with big fingers.

  • I am new to woodwork, can you advise me if I can fix a hitachi plunge router to a homemade router table.

  • Great for a first effort, keep going, practice makes perfect! Listen to criticism, but don't take the really neagtive ones to heart. When you talk in the intro, show some examples instead of yourself for a better video.

  • great video,, I don't think it's necessary for the narrator of tutorials to show their face.

  • This was my first experience making a tool video. The ones that follow are shorter and more planned out. I honestly thought the crickets wouldn't come across as well as they did. Plan a remake for next year's class.

  • The crickets in the background are a little distracting. Also, you stammer. But thank you for presenting this video.

  • Nice lol
