  • touches my heart every time

  • :) This is so beautiful. No offence to Meryl Streep, but I prefer this version :)

Siobhan McCarthy's voice is so beautiful <3

  • @BalphaPUD Easy mistake, it says Broadway Decca on the cover, which is the label, but it is my cast from 1999. There was never and will never be a Broadway album for legal reasons.

  • This song reminds me of Toy Story 3! :(

  • I saw the original show in London in 1999 and had forgotten all about this version. Back then I wasnt familliar with songs like this one our "Our Last Summer".

  • In the movie is very beutiful! But i prefer this version!

    Congratulations Broadway!

But I'm not saying that Meryl Streep and Amanda Seyfried don't sing well... But i prefer this version!

  • God bless all your emotional overloads!

  • I'm glad someone's sharing the non-movie version of the song, the musical one is way better~

  • Siobhan McCarthy rules!

  • i love it!!!

  • how is singing this!?!? cos there not that good at singing!

  • Agh, I'm nowhere close to being a mother, I'm 16. but holy poop. I can't help but cry hearing this song, and the song "Mamma Mia" too, I have no clue why... They're so deep...

  • I am a mother with two daughters. It is all so regognisable. I had to cry during the film hearing this song. What a wonderful film and what a great actress Meryl Streep is.

  • kristel, this version is not from the movie. it is from the original broadway musical in 1999. I fell in love with the singers from the original when I was 10 years of age, and seeing people mistake the voices for those from the movie appalls me somehow. The movie version hurts my ears.

  • There is no Broadway Cast Recording of Mamma Mia! Maybe you mean London.

  • Just, don't watch it...

  • @HUBADanceR This is not Broadway, but our London original production from 1999, sung beautifully by Siobhan McCarthy.

  • Even though Meryl and Amanda are not a real-life mother and daughter, their bond in the movie is so perfect... A beautiful scene accompanied by an equally beautiful song!

  • hihihi!!!

my mother cryed also when we saw this movie and this song came.

  • same here! she used up all the tissues we bought to the cinema!!!! HEHEHE! but anyway, i almost cried at this point!

  • i cried. all the time, when i listen this song. omg, what a beautifull song...!

  • I can't hear this song without starting to cry. My daughter and I have seen this film three times together. It is a really beautiful song to show that you should take care of every second of your life. Never forget to live LIFE!

  • I have just watched the movie with my two daughters one of them is getting married next year, I cried all the way through this song, loved it, so beautiful and reflects the lovely precious relationship between mother and daughter.

  • I saw the movie yesterday after much resistance and loved it. I'm not an Abba fan but they have songs you just have to sing to. I went with my daughter and cried throughout the whole scene relating to this song and then gave her the biggest cuddle at the end and didn't want to let her go. How did she go from birth and being my responsibility to 23 nad living with her fella in a blink of an eye??!!

  • this is very nice

  • god im sobbing! i dont have a daughter but poor thing if i ever have one, i ll never let her go!!

  • i dont even have to watch the clip of the film anymore.. this song makes me cry as soon as it starts :(

  • i love this song

    its really sad

  • I saw Mamma Mia with my daughter who is in her last year of school. She's leaving home at the end of this year. When this song came on, I was overwhelmed with sadness and pride and hopes and memories. My 'little' girl turned in the dim light of the cinema to find her mother with tears streaming down her face.

  • My daughter is 10 and every word rings true, I can't help but cry when I hear this song.
