I have been a faithful tither for over 7 years. However, I am currently studying rather tithing is biblical or not to the new covenant saint. I've always wondered how we could be redeemed from the curse in every other area except when it came to tithing. I found some good information on a website by Russ Kelly. Wrong, tithing is not biblical for the church...research and study it....it is no where in the new testament, it was meant for the jews, Research start looking up scripture and teaching on both sides and see where the Holy Spirit leads you.
@oceaneyess67 and it could only be paid by farmers and herdsmen..no other profession was allowed to give a tithe..it was simply to feed levite priests and could never be paid in money.

Point is you have to use discernment and the word of the Lord and the point that i seen it as a falsehood was when (in the same testimony) it was stated that a women that was in hell for forication was being raped by some type of demonic beast, that is not scriptural. I suggest you REALLY study this topic on the Word alone, btw, were these visions by catholics?

And by the way, the Proverbs tells us that those who give to the rich (which most churches are and misappropriate the funds) will be cursed. Heaven and hell and all other doctrines are in the bible, any more - it should be thrown out.

@oceaneyess67 Your more than welcome!!! in the bible there are 4 tithes and not many Pastors or christians know what they are, Also tithing was only for the levites and NOT for todays Christians as JESUS didnt tithe nor did paul or peter or john, Infact in the bible its a sin to tithe in todays churchs with money and the pastors who teach this lie are robbing GOD and will miss the Rapture....YAH BLESS!!
