JDS is a great fighter, so it should be a good fight. In this match, Overeem was only worried about Werdum's take downs and BJJ. He concentrated on defending that, so it sometimes left him a little open. He won't have to worry about that as much with JDS.

CroCop never won the K-1 World Grand Prix, but he was a finalist. He also cut his K-1 career to focus on MMA. Both of which were two of the best strikers in MMA. The difference in their MMA careers is that CroCop developed a great takedown defense and Hunt didn't.
This is why stomps and soccer kicks should be legal, if Werdum tried that thing of one punch with no power ,takedown and pulling guard he would get stomped to death.

I thought I was good at boxing after training several months and being naturally quite athletic and having analysed the sport for years - could spar and do well against noobs - but the the no name amatears could not get near them every time I threw a jab it was slipped and countered thats y they always say it like a game of chess. I wrote it before,I do it now once again.Alistair should work way more on the ground,despite his poweron stand up,he is not existent on the ground.According to my humble opinion,he does not look as a champion,yet,even if he will make it to be champion on UFC after the fight with Junior .Werdum seemed to be more complete as a fighter,but trully Alistair has a superior power in punches.
I look forwards when he will meet a more aggressive fighter than Werdum,I believe he will loose that day.

I thought I was good at boxing after training several months and being naturally quite athletic and having analysed the sport for years - could spar and do well against noobs - but the the no name amatears could not get near them every time I threw a jab it was slipped and countered thats y they always say it like a game of chess. That was local level, you then have regional, then national, then continental then world and each step is a VERY step.

brock will lose. ppl talk about brocks speed, well for a guy his size he is but its only for 2 mins before he gasese out. endurance is more important than speed becuz its limited by time. brock can come out with tremendous speed once the bell rings but he cannot keep it high.
brock gets nervous when getting hit like a turtle heading its head in its shell. overeem will teach brock what mma is and that he should leave mma. he will teach him muay thai clinch, knees, elbows, low kicks.
