  • blackmore is the best

  • does the drummer not look like yngwie j malmsteen?

  • Wish I knew he's secret to keeping that Strat in tune?

  • straight up workin that whammy bar, awesomeness

  • Es es un solo de guitarra creativo!!! Excelente...

  • I love the Purple used to end a song in concert! They used to drag it out for so long and make a whole production of it. I mean it's only the end of a song and they play it for like 3 minutes! It's hilarious!

    Long live Deep Purple!

  • this video sooooo amaaaazing.....their all crazy with their instrument... all of them are MASTERS thanks 4 upload...

  • I don't think there is any new rock band today that plays with that kind of intensity and passion that Purple played at. Not even close.

  • He is simply the best guitarist in rock. Page is a producer, songwriter, showman, arenger; and a man who also can play pretty well. Bit if we only are talking about a creative guitarplayer that people will talk about for the day and years to come; its only the man in black that to pick; he is history, today and tomorrow

  • No one can say who the greatest rock guitarist of all time is, but Blackmore is arguably in the top 5 and he and Page were the best showmen I've seen in their prime. Personnally, for me, because of his body of work, it's Clapton.

  • Ritchie Blackmore is a true guitar genius there is no equal in the world of rock and yet to this day he is still not in the RnR Hall of Fame and is not rated alongside the likes of Hendrix and Page etc Why?

  • because people read shit like rolling stone magazine, who set blackmore number 55 in 100 guitarists.

  • jesus its obvious sint it.... listen instead of watching.

  • sorry mate dont understand what you mean I take it you dont think Ritchie is very good? if so then theres no real point arguing with you we all have our own tastes and opinions mines is that Blackers is the finest rock guitarist of all time and a true genius your opinion is obviously different

  • okay im not trying to start an arguement or appear ignorant, as a drummer of 25 years i am well aware of Blackmoore's musicianship and i totally agree that he is one the best rock guitarist of that era. I just dont think he's 'the best' but fair play to you for being totally reasonable. and dont get me wrong mat ecos i love deep purple...to the hilt.

  • The rock and roll hall of fame is missing lenty of people who simply choose not to conform. As for the arguements and opinions below as to is he or is mot the greatest rock guitarist of all time. The correct answer is YES!

  • All my heroes are in their sixties now.

I hope a few of them will reach their seventies

  • Blackmore's guitar work is AMAZING in this. He is not famous than Page or Hendrix, but he showed his great talent here. BLACKMORE RULES!!!

  • I agree with you! But what can you wait from a magazine that put really shits like Britney spears, high school musical and one thousend SHITS on the ports?

    ROLLING POP, sucks!

DEEP PURPLE AND RITCHIE BLACKMORE ROCKS!

  • Unfuckinbelievable! Blackmore = Guitar GOD!

  • speechless... too bad they couldn't get along.

  • when made in japan was first released there was no footage, alot of people thought Ritchie bowed the strat inthe slow part of the solo. great feed back control

  • no se si os habies dado cuent apero en el moemnto a ke ritchie se le cae la puaa jajaj pilla la guiktarra i empeza a ahcer su show es el puto amooo

  • Mamma mia...

  • Ritchie Blackmore is the best guitarist of the world...

  • Blackmore is best!

  • Morse is an world class performer and has icredible skill, but one word discribes Ritchie. GOD!

  • sure morse is better ! flying his plane ...

  • at 7:36 he dropped his pick and then he slide the guitar to the amp and then he took another pick

    Anyone noticed that???

  • You are right! ....from a top of his cab!

  • I've had this since 89 and still love it. I wish they could get some video footage of the Stockholm 1970 show.

  • very powerful music, still my favorit band

  • if you search space truckin 1972, there's another video of the singing part

  • 8.05 Ritchie played a " bum " note.....lol...sorry

  • Where is all of Space Truckin'? You only have the jam

part of the song, where is the vocal part to the song?

  • nice as hell, keep uploading Deep Purple videos, is that from the Kopenhagen performance?

  • yeah, its from Denmark '72
