  • next friday me and my friends are holding a flea market and the money we're going to donate to japan !

I love helping people so I'm pretty exited =)

pray for japan , my favourite country !

  • My whole school donated 1$ to help bc of me! :)

  • What time of May are you going to Japan?

If I had a job I'd donate some money but broke at the present time. (In process of moving) But I do plan on donating some money when I can.

  • our high school made about 4 blankets a class for the japanese

  • Take lots of pictures when you go, it'll be about my birthday when you (hopefully) go. It'll really cheer me up (and many others I'm sure) to see the pictures and really know that some of Japan is ok. The majority of my friends live over in the Aomori Prefecture so they were ok other than the earthquake, but I'm still shaken about my other friends and my bro's wife's family in the other parts of Japan.

  • When I got home from school the day this happened to Japan,I got on the computer and on my home page they were talking about the earthquake and tsunami. The only thing I can do is donate and pray for the people of Japan.

  • Yes, that is true. Mexico is with Japan!!

  • I'm 13 and my friends and I have been cosplaying for a while... we are massive japan obsessors after we started. We have been hosting bake sales and selling stuff that means a lot to us to raise £500 for Japan. It's not much but it should make a difference to help our friends over there TT^TT

  • I live in Taiwan and we have no tsunami warnings but we did have a small earthquake on March 20th and last wednesday. xDD

  • I found out about this earthquake a few weeks ago and all and.....yeh it killed me inside... My dream is to go to Japan and live there. Thts gunna be a while before it happens

  • I'm so glad you care :)

everyone I know is wrapped up in their own little problems, and isn't even bothering to see what is happening in the world.

thank you for this :3 it's nice to know there are other people torn up about what's going on

  • When I saw it on the news I started to cry for all those dead and injured. A few of my friends acted like it was nothing as if innocent human beings were not killed. My friend mori lives in Japan and I hope he's alright. All I do now is think about what those people are going through. I keep imaging the people of Japan in the middle of that earthquake. So many dead or hurt and most lost their loved ones. And most people here don't even care. It's a dark day when humanity turns a blind eye

  • I hate how the teachers and students in my school were just like "whatever" about the whole incident, just because it didn't affect them. Or how my dad was like "they never send their troops to help us." (Japan doesn't even have a military, the twit). I'm still a student so i can't donate much, but I've already contributed $90 this week. Thankfully my 4 friends in Japan were okay, even though one was RIGHT were the tsunami hit. I just wish people would realize that everyones human and needs help

  • I would have been in Japan that day when the earthquake struck had it not been for being $50 short for travel expenses. I'm still thinking what would've happened to me if I had gone to Japan that week.

  • I have had a dream to go to Japan ever since i was little and when i heard that Japan got hit i was so devistated thousands died and to think now more might die because of nuclear stuff in their food i'm so sad so I will donate.

  • It just breaks my heart that a lot of people only care about the anime and manga and hoping that their favorate manga author is still alive becouse they "need to finish the series" I just can't believe that people are like that, what abot the lives that where lost or suffuring? Glad to hear your friends are okey Joey, they seem really nice.

  • i was very upset. i donated to haiti, but this irks me even more. they have several disasters all at once. i am a huge anime and cosplay freak. but i als admire the culture and people of Japan. i love Japan and i have studied the language and plan on studying more in college next year and possibly visiting. My rents wont let me go to China this summer becuz of what happened in Japan with the radiation. This whole situation sucks. I wish the best for them. I don't pray, but I do have alittle $ :)

  • omg im really about to cry i try to stay happy but i have many friends from japan and 3 of them died in the earthquake and 5 of them were lost in the tsunami and it really makes me sad because they were really good friends and i will always remember the time we have spent together the thing is tho is that i just found out about there deaths and i will be going to japan soon to pay my respects and im sorry for any body who has lost loved ones in this tragedy

  • @Roxas1277 That comment brought me into tears. I'm so sorry about what happened to your friends :,(

  • Didnt make a video but I am selling manga on ebay so I can help Japan out. 1-13 of Death Note for sale starting at 10$ ^^

  • so i'm going to start some stuff up school with my anime club maybe, (or maybe try and see if my orchestra class would be up for a benefit concert,) and ask for their support so i can get a bunch of donations to send. I was also planning on going around Downtown Royal Oak, for those of you who live in Michigan, and playing Guitar for Japan, so if anyone lives around there, come see if you can find me and drop off some donations!!!

  • My family and friends are from/in Japan. I'm so happy that people are trying to help Japan out! ^_^

  • Every time I get money I'm sending it to japan!!! Also my teacher who knows I adore Japan ad it's culture... She showed us videos in class and I broke out crying :( SAVE THE JAPANESE!!!

  • i have set in motion my idea at my school to draw commissons to help japan :) so hopefully i can get more artisits at my school to draw comissions to sell at a sort of artisit alley thing at my school :) and in my cooking class i am going to suggest that p4 cooking bakes stuff to seel for japan :) hopefully i can raise alot of money for japan when you head of japan joey becarefull!

  • My ex is in Japan :( I hope he's ok

  • me and my friends are helping spread the awareness of the effects, and are setting up a campaign to help as much as we can. i've always wanted to go there because some of my friends are from Japan, and i still have some there that i can't even contact right now......im worried about them, but im going to help

  • its very bad from mother nature to do such that :(

    hope japan will recover soon

  • And you are so right Joey. Im tired of all this 2012 crap! When its time to go then its time, but right now we're living in the now . So stop worrying and start helping people!

  • I was just there last year. I stayed there for two months. It was great and just knowing that this happened it really breaks my heart. Im gonna cry again :'(

  • I wanna go and fly over to Japan and give hugs to random Japanese peeps. >.<

  • @SasuNaru15128 thats a sweet gesture but it really wouldnt help much...

  • @SasuNaru15128

yes bring love to the people and try to make them smile :3

  • i've loved japan since who knows when and to know now that THIS is happening is heart breaking...makes me feel like im loosing my home or what might be my future home. but being sad about it isn;t gonna help shit, imma tell the principle that we need to do something to help japan, as much as we can~~~!!!! LONG LIVE JAPAN!!!!

  • 15 year old girl here and I'm donating all the money I have, 230 bucks might not be to much but it's the least I can do :( , and I'm also staring a HUGE campaign in my school and I'll sell a bunch of stuff to help out Japan :') , I HOPE IT HELPS !!!!!

  • @XoJrockAngeloX ur an amgel~

  • @Joeyblondewolf2 my name is angel XD seriously

  • I am moving to japan for three years and I was going there the day the earthquake hit but thank god I was delayed 2 weeks but I am praying for japan and also I am moving to one of the parts were the earthquake hit so hopefully it was not hurt to bad but pray for japan

  • if people would take care of the planet this wouldnt happen but thanks to humanity's wonderful misuse of the earth its going to get worse prayer works but in the end will it save a planet of people that dont care anymore.

  • my aunt lives in japan so suport and pray for japan . and ur 100% right we LOVE Japan!

  • im praying for Japan. i love Japan soo much. i dream of going there one day and dream of when i become a singer to perform there. just pray pray pray. because someday it will get better

  • May all the otaku and everyone else unite to help Japan!

  • there were 3 earthquakes, 2 tsunamis, and a volcano erupture there. . .

  • I've always wanted to go to japan since my cousin lived there I'm happy she's back in the states but one of my friends is over there now she said she wasn't affected so that's good *gives Joey and every one in japan a big hug*

I'm not Japanese, but it's hard to watch. Thanks for caring.

  • im with you joey

  • .... does anyone know how to find or contact people in japan? my cousin is there and i cant contact him >>

  • my cousin was stationed there and when i heard about i freaked out but he told us yesterday that he was in the air when this happened going to south korea. i was thankful ♥ and im praying for everyone that wasn't so lucky over there ♥

  • When i heard about this my face was like :O i pray for them -o-

  • I live on the Island of Oahu hawaii and so far, there are no casualties. I think we had some erosion on the side of california but again, no casualites.

  • My thoughts are with Japan and all of the other people affected by the tsunami.

Apparently a volcano in Southern Japan just erupted, along with a nuclear plant blowing up.

Can this get any worse? D':

  • I really just wanna fly there and help, but i know i cant :'(

    this makes me so sad.

This stupid tsunami is killing so many people, and its destroying the country im gonna move to when i finish school :(

    I feel terrible...

  • Dude. When I watched that on TV my mouth was hanging open. o_O I mean, 8.9??

  • OMG when my mom told me that Japan had a earthquake and Tsunami hit I felt terrible ! Japan is the most exiting place in the world ! How could this happen !?

I've always wanted to go to Japan ! I feel so bad ! I've wanted to live there and now I'm to scared to ! I will pray for Japan every day and hope the family's who have lost someone important to them will get threw there heartaches.

    <3 U Japan!

  • 2012 doesnt have anything to do whit religion.... the Bible doesnt mention shit about 2012... the ones who mention it were the Mayans and those bastards arent cristians.... so IGNORANCE FTW!!

  • For Southern California, it hit our beaches with about 5 feet of water and no damage. I feel so bad for Japan though ):

  • oh joey. you have the sweetest heart ever, i also want to go to japan one day and when i heard about the disaster i felt like my heart sank. I hope your friends are ok. Respond to this coment if you wsh, u dont have to. IM A BIG FAN!

  • I cry'd I t it. I have 3 friends there. There mom said the were hit bad. She said something about them screaming on the phone. I hope there alright.

  • joey i made a $10 donation to the american redcross seance I REALY love Japan. thank you thank you for the video and link. thank you.

  • Japan has always had tsunamis hence the Japanese word Tsunami. This is nothing new, its always happened, just they didnt have tv or video tapes to capture the event.

  • @angie4josh

Well this earthquake was bigger then any of there's since 900 years ago. There not used to one this big.

  • That's so sad!!!!!! And yeahh I LOVE japen and I want to go there, that is one of my biggest dream even if my friends think it's impossible for me or make fun of me because of it :( I really like Japen so I will pray for everyone in japan that they are okay :/

  • Seriously I don't know how many times I heard about the whole, "It's the end of the world... a year earlier!" I just scoff and roll my eyes. Instead of screaming or running around scared we should actually try and help people experiencing these terrible natural disasters and pray for them, like you said. Anyways, I love Japan very much. I think Japan is a beautiful country with great spiritual and traditional aspects. I was very sad when I heard about the tsunami/earthquake.

  • Japan really got messed up. They're going to need all the help they can get. I know if the Army is going to take volunteers for relief efforts, I'll go in a heartbeat. Barring that, all I can do is donate and pray.

  • One of my best friends lives in Japan. I didn't know that it happened until I went to school. I was crying my eyes out. I prayed for everyone out there in japan. I hope if you know someone in Japan I pray they are ok, and ill pray for your friends to joey!!

  • I love Japan! I wanna go there some day its a dream of mine too! I'm so sad of whats happening there. Pray for Japan and their recovery and donate in any way! They really need it.

    naruto creator is missing

    dbz writer is dead

nintendo is fine no damage whatsoever

    hideo kojima is fine

  • Arigato gozaimashita Joey chan. (^-^)

  • When I saw the news I started to cry. My dad looked even sad an he doesn't try to show a lot of emotion but this even caught him off gaurd. Me an my dad send my prayers. I also hope Japan stands strong and rise again.

  • yeah.... it sucks.

Last year, Haiti, this year Japan. =[

I'm actually making some lolita charms to sell so I can raise money for the Japan Tsunami relief. All proceeds go to it. =]

  • @Jakotsu Last year was Chile and Haiti.

  • joey i hope your friends are all okay and i hope as well that things get better in japan as soon as possible, my heart goes out to all that suffer from this tragedy

  • @Joeyblondewolf2 I hope people are okay... I have a whole family out there in Japan so I still waiting for them to get back to us since we live in NY. Im so scared I love them so much I'm going soon whether they're okay or not. Let's hope when you go to Japan too it'll be okay and not too bad over there by May. Cross our fingers.

  • This really makes me sick how people can dislike this.. those 7 people got some serious problems..

  • @janolikegayo Make it 8. I don't care what some girl with weird colored hair and half-sucked Ricola's thinks about the tsunami.

  • @flagthatspam if you dont care then why watch and comment the video?

  • @flagthatspam If you do not care, then please do us all a favor and not comment on videos of people hoping for the best in such times of tragedy

  • I can just reassure people about one thing, to make a people feel at ease just for a minute. California is fine, nothing happened. By the time it reached us, it was only about 2.8 feet high, so we're fine, but keep you prayers going for Japan, they need it really bad right now. <3

  • When I first heard of this I didn't believe it. I was shocked so badly that I couldn't accept what happened. Today my whole heart goes out to Japan because I love those people and....just...that place is amazing despite how tiny it is. It is my dream place and I just want to pray for them hoping that everything turns out alright!

    Joey, God bless you and I am so glad you made this video ;;

  • i think this was as big as the incident of 9/11. i can't get over how both an earthquake AND tsunami came on the same day. all we can do is pray, and if possible help. help is the only medicine we have now or days.

  • @cryhog The earthquake triggered the tsunami you idiot. Did you think tsunami's happen when Poseidon sneezes? Get over it.

  • @flagthatspam hey please do not make fun of cryhog she is my DA friend -_- plus we should not be criticizing each other, jeeze, not everyone is a geologist ok? so how about you just stop making fun of people, maybe if we can, work something out to help japan IF possible, instead of just making hateful comments on youtube videos of people hoping things will be ok because it is all we can do besides praying, how about you take your hate comments elsewhere, we do not need it, especially now!

  • @flagthatspam

    sweetie... relax.

  • @cryhog

I don't think you could compare it to 9/11 just because 9/11 was not a NATURAL disaster. you would have to place this in a different, but still devastating, category.

and tsunami's are triggered by earthquakes. that's how they happened on the same day. it's really awful that it works that way, huh? :/ but thats how it is.

  • crap!!! now im scared cause im in san diego

n im worried i pray to god that everything is going to be alright

  • im with you there Joey! I have many many friends from my Japan trip this past summer and im worried terribly!:(

  • I HOPE U FRIENDS ARE OK!!..

  • I wanted to go to Japan some day.... and this did kind of really did scare me. I'm from Michigan, like no kind of things like tornado's or earthquakes or tsunami's hit there.

And just thinking about how those people arent safe like I am is just... sad. I hope their safe, and I'm sorry for the lives lost. :(

  • But I mean

  • I have no friends I Japan nut I will still pray.

  • dude you look weird

  • I saw the news about the earthquake this morning and it was like a smack in the face. Two of the three neuclear reactors are not cooling down like they should and they already evacuated a six mile radius of tokyo. I have a friend in Japan and I just hope that she and her family is alright.

    -E

  • I have several friends and an old pinpal that live in north eastern Japan... I don't believe in God, but this morning when I heard about this, I sat down and prayed for a moment. I do give my best wishes to the families that were affected, and desperately hope to hear from my friends... May the outcome go within their favor.

  • people should pray in their own way whatever realigion they may be

  • really does feel like 2012 is happening (even though i don't believe)

'saiyaku'=.= Australia floods, america ... idk, know massive in japan geez who would of thought?

  • i woke up at 6 am with 74 tweets on my phone from miyavi and other people i fallow from japan really crazy stufff my friend also texted me cuz she lives in hawaii i freaked out majorly

  • that a guy or girl?

  • I was in the middle of class today when I found out and it toke all I had to not cry. This makes me want to go to Japan even more so I could help those poor people.

  • i freaked out when i found out, i have many friends in japan too! i am so so worried

  • I respect you so much. I just looked at my suggested videos and clicked on this, with no idea that you were a cosplayer as well and I just feel warmed about your concern about this.

  • I hope everyone in japan is okay everyone in the club in school next bake sale 100% of the profit is to help them

  • Thats really horrible what happened i hope my cousins are ok over there.

  • I'm so sad !!!!! I wanna go to Japan 1 day D: I can't believe this happened !!!! :(

  • @XxShyBumbleBeeXx Me Too

  • this morning when i heard about the earthquake and tsunami i was worried about my sensei that teaches us japanese she is originally from japan and just brought students from my school and another school to see japan luckily the earthquake and tsunami hit before they landed and they were redirected to one of the northern islands

  • what kind of asshole would dislike this video.....

  • (A comment I found on a previous video, passing it on) "Japan is the land of the rising sun. Today is a dark day; tomorrow the sun will rise again..."

  • I hate to sound like a completely horrible person, but ... What makes this natural disaster any different than the earthquake in Hati or hurricane Katrina? Yes, it happened in a country that all the little tweens dream of visiting so they can be kawaii desu (No, that was not directed at any one person here). Really. What's the big deal? I've heard people freaking out about it all day and I've been thinking, "It's Japan. What's the big deal?"

  • @kaeldra299 Aside from that, my heart goes out to all those who have lost their lives and families who were affected by this. See? I'm not a completely horrible person.

  • @kaeldra299 From what I can tell, Japan and Haiti both got equal amounts of attention. Same with Katrina. It seems like they didn't though, because Katrina and Haiti is "old news". Yes, people are still affected, but after a few months, something new will come up, and we focus on that. The supposed "old news" was given lots of care, people praying for them, worrying about the citizens. Then, another thing happens somewhere else, and we begin to worry about THOSE people there. That's how we are.

  • @kaeldra299 Its not different from Haiti nor Katrina, because both have people dying and being affected by it. A 8.9 earthquake highest being around 9.9 i believe, so it was a QUITE big earthquake to even start a tsunami which is heading towards California. The fact that people in general will probably be affected by this is bringing out care from everyone even Obama who shares a personal tie with the Japanese. Hope I sort of helped with your question and I hope you see y we care so much

  • my firned in my japanese class went to hawaii on tuesday....dear god i hope shes ok. my japanese teacher freaked out today...god i know so many japanese singers/actors. i hope everyone is ok!

  • Im suposse to be goin to Japan in April.. I really hope Japan is ok. ): Maybe I wont be able to go, but Idc. As long as they'er safe, thats fine by me. R.I.P Japan!!

  • poor Japan! D: I give my prayers to all of them!

  • i'm in yokosuka navy base in japan and i felt the earthquake!!!!!!

  • this is a thing that should not happen....

    it is horrible...

i hope that it is not getting worse....

    pray´s from holland

  • it is so sad I mean a couple weeks ago a earthquake hit where I live and I thought that was bad but hearing about Japan makes it look so small.

I do really hope Japan is fine

  • i gope ur friends are okay ^^

  • It was really sad when i heard about this, but it was really sad when i found out that a friend of mine who is a foreign exchange student from japan family lives around the area of tokyo so i just hope they are fine for her sake

  • I agree with you that for anime or cosplay fans, most of us love Japan, in some way, shape, or form. For me, I have the same dream as you, to one day. go see Japan and after years of studying the culture, to see it attacked like this by a force that is in our every day life's... Saddens me.

Even though I am earth Wiccan, I still can pray to the great mother and so i shal. Pray for Japan

  • I know what it's like to have friends over there. We have family friends over there (like my dad's known their dad for over 30 some years) and we talk alot but we haven't ben able to contact them to find out if their ok. They live in southren Japan so hopefully they'll be ok. It breaks my heart seeing the news and all the destruction that's occured. R.I.P to all those who have died and please, be strong Japan, you'll get through this. The world will help you, I know I will=]

  • I have a friend in Jakarta and when I heard in class this morning that Indonesia was a likely target for the tsunamis I praticaly bursted out crying

  • We would be fucked without Japan, I hate that natue did this.

  • dude it's all on da news. poor japan. if they have a thing to help out i will join

  • I <3 JAPAN

  • Man, I woke up to this on the news. My thoughts are out to all of Japan

  • when i saw all of the videos that ppl took during the earthquake i was praying the no one got hurt

  • Right when i heard about the Tsunami i started crying then i keep praying through out the day. This is the worst thing that could have happened to Japan. I pray for all the lost family members out there. and pray that we can find the bodies and return them home. and that somehow the family's will recover.
