  • 1:18, i thought orchestras are only for asians o.O

  • Somebody clapped too early at 3:34 xD

  • it was to fast, to soft, and the melody could be louder i mean come on people!?!?! the melody is more important!!! DUHHHHH!!!

  • too fast .

  • That 2 videos with a runaway tempo, otherwise not bad.

  • i wether play this then a beatles song i love this song

  • Thanks for all of the views guys. You give a guy a lot of confidence. There are more arrangements and originals coming in the future!

  • you need to slow down. some people need to play louder. almost sounds like only 5 people from cello, violin, and viola are playing along with no bass. otherwise, great show, great show!

  • i go to that high school!! woo

  • serious balance issues...

  • i love that last clap at 0:04

  • whats with the closeup on Shelby?? haha

  • ENO FTW!!!! yeah, we're beast :D

  • its their own version why its too fast.... but for me its awesome hail to them :)

  • man u guys are good good work people

  • Really well played. I feel the speed was fine without the words but it still felt like they werr rushing. If they could just slow it down a ver little bit it would be perfect.

  • damn... tht was fast

  • Great job Mr. Markes.

  • ta perfeito eu queria tocar igual eles

  • I would complain about the speed of the song if the orchestra showed any trouble of playing the piece. It sounded flawless and I loved it.

  • slow down guys!!!

  • What's in a hurry??

  • Why is it that every single orchestra plays this song at a faster tempo from the original? They've all been pretty good but why can't they play at the same speed as the original?

  • guys stop making all these harsh comments on how its fast or whatever, but it really it sounded good and they probably took alot of their time and hard work to play this. so just saying thanks to the conductor:)

  • Valla buen sonido muy lindo me gusto mucho ^^ Gracias por el video

  • beast

  • The harmony is too loud during the start. But still It's awesome.

  • Its too fast that you can't understand it...but I love it.

  • Wow, I'm in this and there are so many views, it's amazing I love it :)

  • toooooooo fassttttt

  • Since there are so many comments about the small sound, I wanted to let you guys know that it is my video camera's fault.

The orchestra had over eighty people...so it was actually pretty loud in person!

  • a big orchestra but small sound how come? and its a bit too fast that. the melody should have played the melody more. louder! louder!

  • Sound good but was not ready

  • wow really big orchestra. and still the sounds are way too soft. sloppy and weak.

  • you are playing it pretty well but way to fast. This isn't proffecional.

  • @perulez Seems like your spelling isn't very professional as well. :)

  • this was a wonderful arrangement! Your orchestra is freaking huge O_O

  • Best ive heard so far the rest just fuckin suck!

  • Okay, so I don't know you guys, but bravo! to your bass player for making this arr. (+ for giving the violas the melody), I bought an arr. for my students to play and it was a bit underwhelming. My students tend to rush too- and given the excitement of the live performance, it's understandable that the tempo was a few clicks too fast. With that being said, it's so nice to see so many people in your orchestra, balance for the most part was good, and the intonation was solid- congrats!

  • Sounds great!! I think our class will be playing this next year! I hope we sound this good but it's a long shot...

  • A tad too fast i think. Will be better if the tempo is slower? Overall it is still a splendid job anyway :D

  • amaazing♥

  • great stuff guys!

  • again i liked the slower version

  • i played this in my orchestra at national music camp of canada last week it was totally awesome it sounded sooooooooooooooooooo gooooooooood!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • very nice!!

but i think it's a little bit fast...

  • wow these violons are actually tuned right haha

  • haha I PLAYED THIS TOO! :D

  • very good. Im not a string expert but the tone was amazing!!!!

    Slightly rushed but beautfully played!

  • Wow, certainly talented kids, but this Kangwa fellow must be REALLY good :)

  • nice !! xD

  • Great job guys. just slightly too fast. Where did you get the music?

  • @nicks2048 This arrangement was by a bass player in the orchestra, Kangwa Mundende.

  • this brought a tear to my eye. Im glad people like can make such beautiful music, my only advice is slow it down a tad. even though i play trombone i can tell the speeds a bit fast

  • this is really good but it seems rushed to me i mean i am not trying to critisise at all dont take like that i am getting ready to play this with my orchestra next year and i just wanted to put that out there

  • Viola solo could be louder...much louder...though I am a violist myself, I think a violin or cello would have been a better choice for the vocal part.

  • sounds good, just the tempo.

  • sounds good but tempo is off

  • tad on the fast side, but otherwise sounded fine.

  • I thought it was pretty good. I wish our High School could have sounded half as good. Besides, it looks like they all had fun and enjoyed it.

  • haha who else herd that cough at the end?

  • The only thing i have to say, is, i like it to be more sharp, and realy together! most where but, you need all of them to be!.......other then that i thought it was good!........And dont listen to HATERS!...........some people should make a living off making people feel bad....Dont listen!...MUSIC is the KEY!

  • I would like to here more of the melody and a slower tempo in the beginning...and WOAH watch out violin XD your overpowering. But great job on the chorus :)

  • Good playing, though!!

  • How are they suppose to surprise the audience if they are tooo still

  • This was one of the better orchestras who played it. Nice job!

  • Sounded too fast.

  • Agree...It could be better...

  • I loved the tempo, it a Great job! good luck to you guys

  • Wow i wonder whats with you noobs with commenting on videos , it's a beautiful piece of song , Not to be rude ENO , thx for uploading anyways

  • The harmony was played too quietly.

  • Haha *YouTube

  • I don't know anything about band I just know it's ridiculous how great you people think you are because you can critisize someones highschool music thing via facebook. Congratulations, I bet you feel very accomplished.

  • @tyBO54 ... to be polite....do not expect miracles on a world where any jam for brains have access to a keyboard ...

  • its too fast and the harmony is playing too quietly

  • Yeah, it's faster, so what? It would be much easier to do it slow as the original song, right? THIS IS GREAT

  • awesome job. just needs to slow it down a bit and itll be flawless

  • RIBOSOMES FOREVER!! i love you guys!!! :)

  • they need rosin or maybe the sound of ur recorder is acting up!

  • @VivaENO

DrakeNovum is right, it was performed too fast to enjoy it, and the conductor did absolutely nothing to help it.

If highschool students cant accept criticism by now, then they are going to be in for a real shock when they get out into the REAL WORLD, because there's not always going to be a chaperon to guide them by the hand and make sure that everything they see it "G" RATED.

  • It doesn't matter if this song is played faster than normal. It's very hard to play this on the violin (especially at such speed).

My compliments! This is very well done in my oppinion!

  • violin

  • yeah you guys are playing wayyyyyyyyy tooooooo fast

  • to fast

  • i think the tempo is a bit too fast to enjoy. dont know if this was intended or not, but great performance nonetheless

  • @DrakeNovum

Get a life. I bet you weren't the one working your butt off to do a good performance. Not that I was in that orchestra but I am in the one at my school and it isn't easy. The last thing these people want to hear about is their "fucking maestro". Seriously.

  • VivaENO, Thanks for putting this on, I would have love to have been there to have heard that fill the air... YouTube even with headphones can't even come close to the feeling of what would have been live. I enjoyed the pace, quite enthusiastic and nicely done.

My only complaint... I wasn't there to hear it live.

    Smiles from Midland, Canada :-)

  • @DrakeNovum

If you can't comment respectfully, please do not comment at all, as it will offend many people who have met and worked with this conductor.

To all viewers: This video channel is for a high school orchestra, so please make your comments constructive. I will delete any further comments that contain profanity.

  • @VivaENO

Oh please, the truth is to be said and if it is said harshly then it will not be dismissed so simply.

What kind of society are we building when we shelter the hearts and minds of the young to pure, constructive criticism?

Because that is what my comments are. I do not dot around people, bestowing upon them the soft caress of a gentle critique. That conductor is harming the performance of otherwise perfectly viable orchestra members - at a highschool, of all places!

  • @DrakeNovum

In my opinion, your comment can be made more constructive by substituting the words "fucking useless" for something more descriptive and less offensive. Many of the students that read your comment may see it only as a direct attack on the skill of the director, and not his performance in this video. This significantly reduces the intended positive effects of your comment.

  • @VivaENO

Well, it is a direct attack on the skill of the director as it is displayed in this video. What was the rush? Was he on the clock or something?

  • All I ask is that criticism is constructive and free of profanity. It will be better recieved by the students.

    Thank you in advance.

  • @DrakeNovum Seeing as I am in this orchestra, I know for a fact that the maestro is not "fucking useless." Our maestro is not only a great teacher, but he is also a brilliant musician. The members of our orchestra would be appalled at the way you comment on our work. I also know that, as a friend of mine arranged this, it was meant to be performed at the tempo it was. Please don't comment on our work when you don't know anything about the piece or the way it was meant to be played.

  • @DrakeNovum

m8 if that's constructive criticism then i am a dickhead. Constructive criticism means that you contribute tips, values, or ideas. It in no way means that you simply call someone fucking useless and call that constructive criticism. Seems you need to go back to school imo.

  • but its actually true, its just a little too fast to be enjoyed.

  • WAY too fast!

  • yeah man i agree. it was great, but they need to slow it down. other than that, FANTASTIC!

  • How can it be that fast ?_?

Viva La Vida original was also like 4min..

  • @cjgan80

I guess you have no sense of rythm.

  • i remember i wanted to learn either violin or cello just so i could play this song
